The initial tension definitely decreased. As with many cdramas. The emotional aspects and timelines are not well defined. It went from boiling hot to mild in an unremarkable manner. They could have done it so much better.🤷‍♀️

I had to go back and watch their part again. Mind you, I binged the whole thing in one day.🤤 He fits your classic closet gay with a “ intellectual patina, just to feel justified to explore his desires. He was truly taken with Yeong. But his fear of being exposed was much greater. The only way to cut him and his gayness out of his life was with cruelty. Yeong paid the price.
But hell, that tree of life is living rent free in my mind!😁😂🔥🤭

This is turning to be a snooze fest for me. Such great first episodes have turned in to a mush of unimportant events. Good when you need to watch something mindless, after a stressful day.
I like the leads and follow them. Hoping for better projects for them in the future.

Wow. A story of growth and the glass through which we see and learn about love.
Coming full circle through out time and maturity.
The characters gave life to all the emotions we feel at one time or the other. Regardless of gender.
It also leaves the door open for a second season, even though it’s not necessary. Loved it! ❣️

Well, 2 very revealing episodes. I feel it went a little dark. Wichai’s mother went from an annoying screaming mother, to a very emotionally disturbed and abusive one. He has simply been used as her pawn since the day he was born.

I feel they are delving deeper into their characters, specially’s Wichai the horrid way his mother treated him, turned him into an emotional cripple.

I’m asking myself the same. Maybe he simply doesn’t grasp the meaning of being in love?

I really don’t expect much profundity in this drama. Admittedly Ellis demeanor is constantly abrasive and tiring. I think Kim would had been a better match for Ellis. Now we have exes coming out of the woodwork. I feel it’s messy and not going nowhere. I hope it picks up. It’s becoming boring and predictable to me.🥱🥺

Yeah, just finished ep. 11. I’m still not going with it! There’s something there, but it’s not going to be easy.

Racking my brain. As of episode 10 I truly can’t tell if Jing has truly developed any feelings, besides possessiveness towards Mei Lin. Are they still, using each other?

On ep. 15 Her crabiness is getting on my nerves. Constantly complaining about money. I find the story slow an cliche. Not , but don’t expect anything new. A shame because I love the leads. A terrible waste of Edward’s Chens talent.

I agree. Cramming too much into the script. Gargantuan endeavor. I love how the novel author ( VR) flipped the whole thing by having Matt be the one alive and Khen the ghost.
