Kang really does want to protect Sailom from everything - physically from the loan sharks, from being an escort, as well as emotionally…so he has Sailom live with him as what? A 24/7 tutor. Lol, they’re cute.
KBLs are winning 2023, unfortunately Jun & Jun is the exception. They tried with the last ep, but it doesn’t make up for everything it lacked. Disappointed.
I just watched this cuz Tony Leung won a Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2023 Venice Film Festival & after watching this and re-watching In the Mood for Love, I heartily agree that he deserves the Award. He’s an amazing actor. This film is painful and raw. The cinematography is beautiful. It’s one of those films you think about for awhile and then end up re-watching it to fully absorb its symbolism and meaning. Enjoy.
Maru is hilarious! Glad they’re finally together! They’re the cutest! This show is so well done…even the portrayal of An’s super toxic relationship trauma and how Hyun’s love is the healing he wants & needs. Then the games leading to misunderstanding between Sungmin & Hyuk…all of these relationships are so real. This is def one of the best KBLs this year.
Their change of attitude towards each other was a bit too fast, but I think Sailom was already crushing on Kang and Kang being willing to help & protect Sailom cinched it. I’m sure there will be plenty of confusion & conflict in the future.
A few steps forward…a giant leap back…this season is so frustrating. Shin’s happiness for Akira finally showing his love was so fleeting. Akira wasted months refusing to show his love to Shin and now he can wallow in the regret. So great to see Asuka & Shu so happy!
(is that even a spoiler??)
It’s currently available to stream in 4K on max.
