I couldn’t agree more. I don't remember the last time I was this excited for a new actor. Tian Jia Rui brings such authenticity and grace to wuxia roles, he truly embodies the spirit of the genre. His expressions alone have this magnetic quality. I hope he gets more major roles in the future.

That’s such an intriguing take. I’m starting to think you might be onto something with him being a dragon or a similar divine creature. The details you pointed out—the red semi-scales, the hairpins like horns, and especially the pagoda demon’s wording really add up. It’s almost like his true nature is hidden even from himself, and those nightmares he had as a child of him turning into a demon could be a hint that his transformation is coming. Imagine the twist if he realizes he’s not a human but something far more powerful.

Humans, with all their complexities, flaws, and emotions, can sometimes be their own worst enemy, while demons, often seen as pure power or malice, bring their own brand of chaos. But sometimes, demons are more misunderstood than evil, just like humans can be. It makes you wonder which side is really more "human" in the end.

It’s also nice to see Zhuo Yi Chen finally putting his hatred aside and warming up to him. Their dynamic is really starting to change.

Tian Jia Rui looks incredibly handsome with those glasses; they add such a refined charm to his look.

Why did Zhu Yan, even when he wasn’t himself, just let Zhuo Yi Chen dream instead of killing him? What held him back? Is he selective? Like he killed the dragon god.

It’s like the writers are setting us up for major heartbreak, making us connect with them just to twist the knife later. I’m not ready for the emotional damage. I’m preparing my tissues and my heart in advance.

It’s fascinating how Zhuo Yi Chen’s character arc shows such growth in his relationship with Zhao Yuan. From intense animosity to a nuanced understanding, Zhuo Yi Chen’s transformation highlights the depth of his development. His journey from hate to tolerance reflects a maturity and resilience, showcasing how characters can evolve when they confront their own emotions and biases. This shift in perspective adds a rich layer to their dynamic and really elevates the story.

I hope we get Lord Bing Yi and Lord Ying Long backstory. Looks like
Zhuo Yi Chen and Zhao Yuan Zhou will have the same fate.

I have to commend Tian Jia Rui's remarkable acting, especially considering this is his first major role. His facial expressions are incredibly expressive and add so much depth to the character. Each scene feels more intense and emotional. And that slappings between zyz and zyc, i now want to see the BTS.

Exactly. I feel like the show's dropping clues about Zhuo Yi Chen not being human, especially with those shared glowing eyes and that trailer scene. It's like they're all hiding something, except maybe Pei Si Jing, who’s supposedly the only human. I’m really curious to see how they reveal each character’s true nature.

Maybe he's a demon coz in the trailer he grows wings when he is flying to the sky.

Zhuo Yi chen also ranked no.10 . Its not even close to half way but this drama is already a hit. Its Coming to save iQiyi this year.

After i finished watching MJTY last month i went to look for his other dramas only to find out that MJTY was his first series. I was really surprised.

Couldn't agree more. Tian Jia Rui is indeed captivating he has such a striking presence on screen. For someone so new to acting, especially with this being only his second drama, he’s already making quite an impression. His talent and charm make it hard not to root for him.
