There's nothing wrong with him ( so far haha) He burned the Tea Kings Tree for Yunshu to stop her craziness. I don't know if there is a deeper plot behind. It is only based on the trailer most of the trailers in cdrama are misleading . We dont know if he really burned that tree or he just said it for yunshu to stop.

From the start only Shan Bao, Gov Jiang , Prefect Xu (including their lackeys ) know that LJL is an Imperial Inspector. The rest find out only after LJL revealed that he is still alive. (From ep 19 - current ep)

Oh really, hopefully if ever they'll have S2 the leads stay the same. Most cdrama's who had s2 change the leads because of schedules . But if this drama ends well s2 is unnecessary .

Base on the preview for ep 25-26 they'll release the Capital scene probably eps 30-36, since there are more stories need to be wrapped in Linji . I guess they'll have the ending there or probably the leads traveling back to Linji .
