This, and Dine with Love are my refuge at the moment! Lady and Gent continues to be in the evil grasp of SaRa- and it’s getting worse.

I’m quite enjoying the series, all aspects of it. Frankly I welcome the quieter moments; Heaven knows there aren’t any in real life at the present. What I hope is that the story doesn’t get overshadowed by the antagonist as has happened lately with other series. I don’t mean the ensemble, which this leans toward. I mean where the antagonists undeservedly gets more story /screen time than the leads/ensemble. That is the case with the weekend series Young Lady and Gentleman - a huge shame.

And no one else is thinking either, and aren’t asking questions. The writer should be embarrassed.

Oh I can’t wait to see what kind of ludicrous redemption arc the writer is going to give all the crazy people because it is obvious and excruciatingly painful to see those are the only characters she cares about.

I’m putting it on hold for a while. It turned me off when he didn’t tell her about a serious event/occurrence . I love the FL’s work, and I expect the story will get better. However I’ve never recovered from Be Together or even worse To Dear Myself, and I’m afraid I’m going to start twitching if I continue watching at the moment because it’s reminding me of those.. I will come back here and see how you brave souls are surviving!

Perfect! I may borrow that! It’s such a shame the writers have wasted so much screen time on Sa Ra’s storyline.

No character growth whatsoever! Ok, playing devils advocate, let’s say some people never change. The writers STILL did the characters(and us) dirty by dragging out the two tiered amnesia, actually now essentially adding a third. It’s asinine that it is now SELECTIVE amnesia in that he’s only remembering the front half of the near skinship, none of the back half. AND, Why not wait for a dna test before falling apart- again…..

Sigh. SaRa has hijacked the storyline yet again. This should be called Sa R’ psycho story

I’m enjoying the series for the most part. However is anyone else distracted at times by the oversized, oddly collared clothing? especially on Takanashi Hinako and the very short haired coworker. I find myself just staring at the designs and lose track of what’s happening.Oh- and where did that kiss come from in epi 7?!?

Aigoo! I had the same reaction. I will try for the casts sake, but it will be hard to ignore the fact the poisoned pen is behind it. I know full well it is not fair to judge before seeing even the first minute, but…….. that….. writer……. HEOL.

I’m enjoying the series for all the reasons you mentioned, but it took a bit of a paradigm shift for me. Same thing happened with Memories of Alhambra. In that case the poster was misleading; it (heavily) implied a romance forward series, not a gaming/thriller. Once I accepted it for what it was, I quite enjoyed it. There’s the same paradigm shift for sharpshooter. It is sports, youth, life lessons, trauma, with evolving romances woven throughout. The tags should be reversed on MDL. Very much enjoying the series.
