we are halfway through and so far romance has barely appeared, if at all. I think its a bit lighter version of vincenzo so far (with loss focus on romance), lots of comedy but also sometimes serious tones with crime, corruption, death and the IMF crisis.

Since romance genre is tagged and he is the male lead, I assume theyll try to make him a good character in the end

thats just normal skin texture...... its kind of messed up that people are so used to the over edited and makeup skin of kdramas that they find that weird.

Yess of the random ass past connection trope like I'm what's wrong with secretary Kim. And there are a lot of interesting characters, I'm glad they aren't focusing too much time on just ML and FL. I how they can handle the IMF crisis too, I was wary of watchimg it because of that tbh. But so far I loveeee

Maybe unpopular opinion based on the comments but episode 5-6 was the first one where I saw the vision and chemistry between the ML(president shin) and FL. I liked their tension!! I don't like the overused K-drama past connection trope, but I think this dynamic could actually be very interesting and not the same old annoying unnecessary plot hole onnection.

Wait I don't want that to be the case, but that makes sense, otherwise how would they redeem the so far horrible character to get back together with Hong. Damn how did I not figure it out

I also felt like the parents not knowing him was a plot hole but its okay we forgive. Same, i actually started watching this hoping that there would be no romance and its just a career girlboss and friendship story but now i see there is romance tagged in the genre.

For the people who are confused by the mixed comments: I enjoy it because I like silly nonsense cliché kdramas, it's exactly what I need to just relax at the end of the day. Something cute and unserious. If you've watched a lot of kdramas I think you know the drill. You probably won't enjoy it if you like serious, action, new, innovative plots or something with a deep meaning. Plus if you like oscar worthy acting, this isn't for you(I ain't hating, I'm not bothered by the acting and love the actors but I can't pretend that it's the best performance ever, but it's not criminally bad). For me it's funny and I do like the concept a lot with the gamer CEO.
