as i was MEH on part 1, i loved this couple story. I love that Tonfah looks like the gentle guy from next door house, but inside he is a dangerous beast (when you hurt his man) - Silent and deadly.
I must say the end of episode 2 was BRUTAL also I love the Japanese song from the OST and so far can not find it and my song finder (shazam) gets me 99% of songs so its unreleased i guess
so the 1st episode was really really nice. I love leads with trauma (one of my fave trope) and our boy has a big load.
Even tho I can uderstand his brother leaving him, as he was not adult and we do not have all the reasons, not contanting him when he looks like doing incredibly well for himself. Never told his wife about him and even said he´s not expecting anyone from his side, that seems just plain cold.
and the speech at the funeral, when his men were going about how he cares bla bla bla ... that must hurt. "So he cares about anyother person but not me, right"
we will see how it will go, if we get any explanation, but right now i don´t see many options for him to be redeemed and im firmly in the "he deserved a punch in a face" from his brother camp
I don´t care what others think. I loved loved loved the finale and whole show. Was it perfect, neat and w no flaws? no, but what series is. The finale was tense, creepy but at the same time emotional and romantic.
My fave scene I must say was Thup w his mama, that had me bawling my eyes.
so far this series is 10/10 for me, we will see tomorrow after the finale (which I will have to watch at work, if all goes well and i will be alone lol)
1. I still think the killer is the 4th member (cute, nice, shy) 2. hope prosecutor ends up disgraced AF with his father 2
3. so what I would like to see but probably will not happen is Laik leaving the industry for good, maybe flash forward couple of yrs where they are happy together and him doing literally anything else but showbizz (but i think they probably have him return and be supersucessful)
so because of this I actually watched the part1 and let me tell you, its really nothing special. This part 2 is already way better on most parts / story, chemistry etc.
only thing is im ready to say "yay we hape happily ever after, end of story" but we are only 1/3 in so we will see what troubles are waiting ahead so far 8/10
So I watched this ne because im watching the ppart 2 and I have to say its MEH at least for me, sorry. the main couple is OK (but their past history does not make much sense Ter is way to immature so the pair feels kinda weird), johan/north also OK but was it somerthing special? not for me
this looks good. I like Lee Jong Suk, but i dont like workplace (hit or miss - with more misses for me) and i dont like at all LAW dramas so happz hes in something different . and Shin Min Ah? who does not like her 😁😁😁
She did get medical help. The psychiatrist and neurologist sent her to each other so there was no clear path in…
it really is. Mental issue this big (having split personality, when the other not just exists but actually takes over) should not be presented as "go to see a doctor but love can save you too" i have strong stance on how should be mental issue presented where others dont care that much, which is fine too. I just tent to overlook other issues ppl have problems with (like im watching godess bless you from death and the police procedures - or following them etc. are very iffy at best but I can overlook that as the rest is amazing so .....) but mental issues are hard stance from me. But i liked everything else so just watch alchemy of souls with the actress and forget this one soon enough 😊😊😊
she visited doctors at ep 12 and told him about her condition that she do not see Dorami again, so she visited…
Pls dont take this in offensive way BUT .... Im sorry but your whole comment is what actually is wrong (in showbiz in general, not just this show). Why fuzz about mental ilness when it affects her public image ...... run from the problem for a while or go shopping etc. ... it makes it better but it will not help in a long run. Their take on this issue is just not how I see it. If you don= t mind it, im happy for you but it will be issue for me as if you don= t know how to use issue in relation to selected genre (romantic comedy in this case) than better skipp it and select another issue/storyline
I agree. They made her split personalities seem as something cute/funny but not overly serious. Trivializing mental…
Also the fact that he can heal her. NO. Loved one can make your struggles better by support, no question there, but he cant heal her. She needs to work it out with a doctor. I know they show her visiting the doctors and having meds prescribed (sleeping right) but IDK the take on this just does not sat well with me. I think im the one of the few that watched different drama than the most. I like way better trauma/issues handling in Idol I.

I know all that. But it does not change the fact, that she is mentally unstable and that the show still treated her condition as cutsie "awww she has this side, what did she did last night" thing and it rubs me the wrong way. I would prefer the main leads maybe fighting more about her mental issues than string of "cutie dates" to deal with it. She even bit him! I also do not believe anzone affection can heal a mental issue. Support of your loved one can make a difference for the better, no question, but one must work it out with help of professional. I did not like this approach. No rewatch for me I think but other than than that, OK drama

So i liked the drama. 7/10, nothing really special to me, but still great HOWEVER one thing keeps bothering me so tell me your opinions.
Weh mu-hee switches for dorami its like she has 2nd personality right and even tho those sequences are cute and all and serve their purpose in the story, all I could think of while watching was that she needs a help. its clearly a psychological issue, at least and the way rthey used it I did not like that (hence the 7)
im thinking the killer could be the nice shy guy from the group (sorry im terrible w names) as to me that would be the most devastating option ... so just pray its not him
They should stop casting famous people for villain roles. The moment I saw Bom on screen I knew he is not here…
haha funny thing is, as I follow just a few couples/actors, I had no idea who the actor is, so I was surprised 🤭🤭🤭 but I guess that if u are well versed it may spoil it for you. Im happy it did not for me
What I like about this show (among other things) from the last 2 episodes especially is / relationship wise - that he remembered the cap and the story behind it, so he knows that she likes him for good reason and not just for the obvious "OMG he`s gorgeous". that gave him more information and he could see her admiration from new angle, hence him tanking her for not forgetting him and watching over him, cheering when he was succesful and remaining by his side when it got hard" I think its important for "the man" to see this side, so he knows later its not just "the idol" she likes. Its so important as at the beggining he was so lost, husk of the man. he said it "I dissapeared long ago"
other thing I think its important is, that the romantic feelings comes from him first. We know she likes him for more than just "the idol" and he probably starts to see it too, but it could come off as weird if the romance started from her. For me it would be a bit awkward if the roles would be reversed as for the dynamic they started on (she was a stan) . IDK that is my feeling that the emotions coming from him, when he is getting back to his self. that "the man" is feeling these feeling.
also i think I can see the end and him not going back to the spotligh, just retire from idol stage and do something else
what on eart King though is gonna happen, what delulu lemonade he´s drinking???? hopefully we´re done with his nonsense.
Funny think is, in the talking scene Singha looked at him and i said that is "what the fuck you talking about" face and 2 seconds later Singha only switched my "fuck" for "hell" so I read his disbelief right lol
I must say the end of episode 2 was BRUTAL
