Everyone has their own opinion but that doesn't mean this drama isn't underrated, and I'm not talking about actual…
It's not a cope. It's a FACT! 7/10 is a good rating. It's not my fault that Kdrama fans don't know any other numbers than 8-10. š
There's an OFFICIAL rating system. What is awful is just a personal opinion. Most Kdramas under 8/10 are not as bad as many people make them out to be. In fact, it's better than a LOT of dramas with above 8.0 ratings.
I didn't insult anyone. If the shoe fits, it's not my fault or my problem. Comments and some reviews prove my point. They can't understand stories even it's not complex, even if the writer spells everything out. That's also a fact.
Saying something is boring or badly-written without any actual proof is not a critique. It's just trashing.
I will be blatantly clear because I don't care if I hurt someone's feelings. Most Kdrama fans watch Korean shows because of the romance, that's all. They don't care about stories at all. Dramas like "Lovely Runner", "When the phone rings", "Love Next Door" etc are 8+ rated because of the cutesy romance, even tho in all 3 the writing is all over the place.
I don't care who likes or dislikes something IF they can articulate why. But most of them only say: It's boring, there's no chemistry, makes no sense and other nonsense.
Just wanting to ask, i get that everyone has own opinions but why are people trying to make this some underrated…
Everyone has their own opinion but that doesn't mean this drama isn't underrated, and I'm not talking about actual ratings. 7.2 isn't a bad rating, it's basically above average. It's just that most Kdrama fans give 8+ or in most cases 9-10/10 to every freakin' cutesy romcom without any meaningful story.
Is this drama anything special or new? Not really. Is it good? Yes, even with minor flaws. Overall, it's well-written, the acting is good, and the chemistry is good (I'm not talking about sexy boys and women and kissing scenes like most people) and the character developments are also good.
This is a more mature drama, and people aren't used to that in romcoms. Many of them can't even understand the most basic things like why these characters are acting a certain way. These people are 100% clueless and ignorant. They watch Kdramas with 2x speed and skip scenes, then blame the writers and even actors if they don't understand the story.
These days, people love to say things like: boring, no story at all etc. And that's not the case with this drama at all.
i must be the odd one out here because i rlly hate this plot..halfway through and it jus feels like she's mostly…
Come on now. The other woman is important (romance wise) for like 2 episodes.š FL is only trying to deal with her fears. It has nothing to do with the other woman.
"it makes it very difficult for me to sympathise with their supposed struggles when they're crying while holding a Louis Vuitton bag in their hands, even more so when their sorrows are self inflicted, like in here."
After reading this part of your review, there's not point reading the rest. This is such a shallow, narrow-minded way of thinking.
Now that I've finished it, I can tell you that Kdramas rated below 8.0 are usually better than people make them out to be. This is another massively underrated drama.
Is it perfect? No. Is there any romcom or melodrama that is perfect? Not really. Other than the finale being rushed a bit, and that one MAJOR event, I didn't have any problem with it. And even that major thing, it's just life. Was it necessary to include it? Well, just like I said, this is life, it's about personal point of view.
What do you mean? I watched all 6 episodes but I'm not sure which girl you are talking about.
I agree. She doesn't bother me, because I understand her. She's not a bad person, she's just an average girl with crap parents. She's obviously like Han Gyeol too, but as I said above, she's like a Tsundere character in Japanese shows.
I have a 7 year younger sister, so girls like her can't phase me anymore.š

Being smart doesn't equal emotional intelligence. A lot of smart people doing stupid things and acting dumb.
Like I said, love is blind. Everyone who was in love at least once was acting the same way.
Just because they're the same age doesn't mean they have to act the same way. Even tho the guy never knew her real parents, he was raised well, unlike the girl. She has obsessed parents. Hence the difference between their personalities.
I think she understands everything, she's just a young girl who's not raised well and most kids are ignorant.

1st: love is blind. 2nd: he probably knows her real self 3rd: just like in real life, it doesn't matter how good a person you are, if you have problems you're gonna take it out on the closest people around you. Not a lot of people can do the opposite tbh. Especially teens.
So yeah, she's irritating, but it's a realistic portrayal of a typical teen.
I just hope they won't introduce some ridiculous plot, because we don't have any big ones yet. I mean, the only thing I can mention is Bom's past, but I can't see that being a dragged out story. This is just a chill feelgood romcom nothing more. It's kinda like "Strong Girl Bong-soon" without the superpower and the crime story.

Oh, right. I mean, yeah she's annoying but tbf, it's all because of her stupid parents, and she's just a typical teen girl. She's basically a Tsundere. It's a boring cliche, but if that's the only bad part of the show I'm okay. The ending is obvious as you already said it.
Binged the whole 6 episode in one sitting. This is one of the craziest dramas I've seen in a while. It's batshit crazy, and that's why I love it. It's a LOT of fun. Sadly the side story with the teachers are not interesting but the rest is great.
That little Bom-sik steals the show with his big eyes.š

Highschool girls in Kdrama usually act like her.
