If Netflix can't cast anyone with a past like that, they would never cast anyone. Every country k-lled millions…
I'm censoring my words because who knows if Mods gonna delete my comments.

I never said Japan is innocent or what others did will erase what Japan did.

I don't really care what people are praising tbh, but I'm not gonna boycott a show or anything because of that. Only hypocrite people do that. My granddad and great-granddad were also part of a War but no one can see me celebrating my countries so called "Freedom" every year, because I think it's hypocrisy and disgusting to celebrate something that was built on the blood of innocents.

I don't care about the reason. For me, killing is killing, and I don't care who started it and why.

And this is why I'm not judging this guy and others shouldn't do this either, especially if they celebrate their own relatives or just their country for what they did in a War. The fact is, every country does this, everyone have at least 1 "Freedom Celebration" every year.

Americans still celebrate Thanksgiving as a nice event.

K-lling is k-lling, simple as that. And if you think it's just "defense" you're naive.

Usually when 2 or more countries are in a War it's not random, and as I said, there's no such thing is someone building a country on love and peace.

Nazis k-lled millions of Jew, and now the same nation k-lling other people.

You can find articles stating that the Vatican never did anything wrong, yet they slaughtered more people than anyone in the past couple of 100s of years.

The further you go back, the more k-lling you can find.

"Unless your point is that if a country is unable to defend itself in the face of a prepared aggressor, then they deserve what's happening to them?"

That was never my point. I was talking about COUNTRIES, NOT INNOCENT CITIZENS. Big difference. Wars only happening because of the leaders. Citizens never had a choice, doesn't matter where they live. It's just some people might think there's nothing wrong with War and k-lling people. You can find people like that in every country. The two main Wars of the past 2-3 years are the prime example.

My main point was that judging this guy for the same thing millions of people celebrate the so called "freedom fighters" every year is hypocrisy.

Korean wouldn't say a thing if he's Korean and praising his Korean relative.

Reading properly is a skill. I said: "Every country k-lled millions of people."

The next sentence in the same comment: "Most countries were built on the bones of others."

It's really not that hard to understand, just basic English. The two sentence has two different meaning.

"not everyone says they respect murderers and feels proud that their country is built on the blood and tears of others"

Really? I'm pretty sure most countries celebrating their so called "freedom fighters" every year and all those "freedom fighters" are k-llers.

In War, there's no such thing as good and bad people, it's only people who k-lls and people who got k-lled. Simple as that.

Yes, they did, you just need to learn history. Japan, China, Korea, America, UK, Germany etc killed millions of people to take over other people's home.

Also, I said, MOST countries, so please, read my comments properly before you wanna argue.

I couldn't care less about what my country did, btw, because It's not my fault, so I don't have to feel any guilt.

On the plus side, she doesn't have a "glow-up" in this. ML just likes her and finds her pretty as she…
I mean, other than one line from the ML in the 1st EP he's okay, but he did call her bland or whatever he said, don't remember, but it wasn't as bad as what her ex said. I'm already afraid the writer gonna mess this up later with the loan-shark plot. Usually when they add too many plot-lines in a romcom it doesn't end well.

Okay, watched the 1st EP, and it was good, BUT I really, really, really HATE this Kdrama trope when they say a female character is not pretty, because she's wearing "boring" clothes, then do this Cinderella glow-up and acting as if she wasn't one of the most beautiful human being before. This is the 21st century, and the fact that this was written by a woman makes it even worse.

I would jump from 10km into the Han River if Ahn Eunji just looks at me for a second, and they dare to call her ugly. WTF?

It's good, but repetitive, and the side characters are not that interesting, except the Princess and Gayoung. They were the comedic duo. The two main lead were great, but the 2nd part of the season was where it became really repetitive and bland. A lot of times the plot was weird and made no sense. I've had multiple problems with the writing, but overall it's still a good show with a decent ending.

It's okay, nothing special, a bit too long, they didn't even finished the main story, like at all, the so called villains didn't get any punishment, and the two main couple was off, the chemistry so-so, but the fact that he was flirting with her when she was 18 is a red flag.

It had some good parts, but overall it's your predictable bang average drama carried by Park Shinhye.

Title Would You Marry Me? Spoiler
Hollywood, Kdrama are predictable, cliches, riddled with scenes that are inconceivable.LOTR, Rambo, Mission Impossible:…
This is a pretty bad argument. Just because this is a fiction, doesn't mean it's okay if the script is inconsistent and lazy, not to mention ridiculous. This is a romcom, not a fantasy, so yeah, this has to be realistic. I don't mind cliches, but I'm never gonna tolerate lazy writing, especially if the writer can't follow their own rules.

No one can realize he's not her husband, even tho they've seen a picture was already a big nonsense, not "Santa Claus". Also, her not getting any punishment for what she did is also ridiculous, it's not realistic.

I don't want to and I'm never gonna suspend critical thinking, because most people already done that, that's why the most boring, lazy written movies and shows are rated higher than it should be.

For some people a cute couple ois enough, but not for me. I don't expect much, especially from a romcom, but real life rules and law shouldn't be ignored.

Oh, Jung Somin, that sh-t that I have to go through because of you.

It's not bad, but not good either. Like, you literally have to turn off your brain to enjoy this. The writing is nonsense, the plot is ridiculous and irritating a lot of times. Especially the last episode.

Also, I'm so done with this "main characters have to know each other from the past" trope. It's so boring, honestly. The show wouldn't be any different without that.

The two main lead and some other side characters carried the show, but that's all. The adult baby and his family should've been removed from the show after the 6th episode.

My advice: Unless you really love Jung Somin or any of the actors, don't watch this if you can't turn off your critical brain. I don't know why so many Kdrama fans love to forgive or just ignore bad writing, but I'm not one of them.

I gave it a 6/10, because overall it's a lighthearted fun nonsense, but you won't miss much if you skip it.

Both are pathetic the groveling fans who praise her to the skies and the haters!
Blindfolded fans are not better than haters if they can't accept valid criticism. The critical thinking is dead these days, people give 10 for everything if their faves are in it. And I say this while she's one of my fave actress and I didn't finish the show yet, only watched the 1st episode but the main plot is already nonsense.

1st epode was okay, but the main plot is ridiculous. I would never date with someone who has the same name as my ex. Like, that's a massive red flag if someone does that. The whole thing with the house is just crazy. The ML doesn't look like some idiot who would commit crime for a house, especially because he's rich. I know this is just a romcom, but they should do the basics right.

She's also a smart woman yet doing the dumbest things. I hope this isn't just another dumb romcom sold with the 2 main lead.

Bang average with good actors and with really bad writing. Overdramatic and what's worse, it's overcomplicated for no reason whatsoever. Like, you don't have to give every character to have a past with the main villain. So many people died because of corrupt cops, and then they want to act in the finale as if they're nice guys. Like, piss off, seriously. The main villain's reveal was surprising because they never gave any hint about him, it was 100% random, out of nowhere.

The finale was just pure nonsense.

Don't waste your time, I only finished it because of Sooyoung. This drama should've been 12 episodes max!

I don't think the budget has anything to do with quality, tho. It's all about writing and good acting. It's not like ENA, and Genie TV put out bad dramas. They have a pretty good track record.
