They need sometime sub it, compared to Viki or oher sites they are super fast so be patient
I've not seen many shows on VIKI, only 10 or so, and most of them were a mess. Word for word translation isn't a good thing. I know Netflix subs aren't the best sometimes, especially in Kdramas, but on Viki the whole sub is a mess. You don't need to translate every word to make sense. A lot of lines are way too long. The character hardly says 3 words and the line looked like a full page in a book.🤣 The formation of the subs are terrible too. You need to pause the show if you want to read everything, because they don't use breaks, either.

On Netflix, the max CPS is 25, so everyone could read it. On Viki I don't think there's a limit. A pro translator can do a better job using 25 CPS than any other who's doing it with 100 CPS.

For example: Extraordinary Atty Woo has one of the best sub on Netflix. There's no long lines and still, you can understand everything. It's all about talent, not CPS. I mean, it's just a Kdrama, not a documentary. I have never seen a Kdrama, especially a mythological show, where the characters overcomplicated something. It's actually the opposite. Back in the day, I've translated a lot of anime, so I can learn the language. I know how fans can be. They want everything right away, they don't care about the quality. Well, most of them. Also, they don't like when the translator doesn't include honorifics, like: Chan, Kun or in Kdrama, Unnie, Oppa, etc. I could go on about this all day, but I don't want to.

On Netflix, the main problem is that most Kdrama translators, don't even know what Kdrama is, and they don't know anything about the culture either. That's why some subs are bad. On Viki, it's the polar opposite. They're fans, and they want to include everything, but that can ruin the fun too. That's why I love to work for HBO more because the CPS limit there is 30 and it's perfect for everything.

She should be exposed, but without taking Mokah down with her. I understand she wanted her company shares, but…
Yeah, because it's that simple, huh? She literally doesn't have any money. Don't you remember? She couldn't even pay her rent to her fans. Also, even if she could start her own company, do you think that piece of sh.t guy would let her? I'm almost 100% sure that they will beat him in his own game, and she's going to get the whole company at some point, and then she can help Mokha too.

HEY ADMINS! Are you here? Is there any Moderator on this site? I'm f-cking fed up with people who can't use the f-ing SPOILER button when they comment! Ban them all, they shouldn't be here on this site! Enough is enough!

If she retires, who's going to help Mokha. You heard it, no one cares about a woman who want to be a singer if she's older than 21.

I know, but still, it's weird that the release date on Netflix is different in every day and week. 😅

I work for Netflix and other streaming platforms and companies as a translator. We have the episodes for every (weekly) show, not just Kdramas at least a week in advance. Trust me, the subs are already done. I'm translating shows and movies for years and never heard about things like this when a translator only getting the episode on a release day. Only fan subbers doing that, I know because I did that too for years when I started learning Japanese.

I don't know much about VIKI, because I only used it for like a week or so, because the subs are utter garbage 90% of the times, especially in my language.

Why Netflix is so freakin' slow? In Korea EP4 is already out. I see people on Twitter already spoiling it, and Netflix release every episode in a totally different time. It's frustrating.

And I was talking about his dad too. Stupid autocorrect ruined my comment.😅 Why would that threaten Mokha? I mean, come on, do you think his dad just want a nice conversation with them? He's not Prince Charming.🤣

"Or are you saying he's hiding his identity from her because he's still afraid of his dad even in his adult life?"

Yes, that's what I tried to say. Just because he's adult, doesn't mean he can't be afraid. The guy beat the sh-t out of him when he was a teen. If you think he only wants a nice chat, you're naive. He is a crazy psycho, for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to kill them both. In his eyes, they ruined his life. Also, Korean law is messed up, we saw it in episode 1 when Mokha reported her dad. They don't do much when it comes to abuse.

People used to say: Just because you know where's the goal is, doesn't mean the journey is meaningless. On the contrary, the journey what really matters, not the goal. 99% of the Kdramas are predictable, but that doesn't mean the writing is bad. You can write a predictable story with likable characters and a meaningful story. Simple as that. Also, everyone knows what happened with Mokha, so there's literally zero need to release another "sappy, sad" story about her life because it's already sad enough.

Why would he hide his identity? You answered your own question. Because of his abusive dad, that's why. If you can't understand simple things like this, it's all on you, not the writer. The funny thing is, that everyone is guessing who Ki Ho is. I wouldn't be surprised if neither of them would be him.

No she won't, you can see that in trailers too. For now, she just wants to help, but later she will be The Diva…
I thought you think she will be like that in the whole show.🤣

She will sing as a backup till they're selling 20M copy, so that Ran Joo can hire Mokha herself, and she's gonna kick out that piece of sh-it producer guy.

yes, it's not listed as a romance, but common, it's definitely accented the triangle, in every single episode
I've seen other projects from the director and the writer, and they never did stupid things like this, so I'm not worried at all, right now.

You mean, Mokha will sing for real or as a backup for Ran Joo like in episode 2 finale? I'm 100% sure she's going to sing as herself and not as a backup for Ran Joo. I think it will happen halfway through the season or not much later.

It can be a love triangle, BUT that doesn't mean it they will write is an annoying love triangle. I've seen a couple of show, not just Kdramas where the love triangle wasn't irritating and cliché at all. For example, in Doona.

No she won't, you can see that in trailers too. For now, she just wants to help, but later she will be The Diva for sure! In my opinion, if she would be an Idol right away it wouldn't be fun, just lazy.

WHAT A COLD OPEN!😱 I'm sure, I will say this every week, but Castaway Diva is another level! Park Eun Bin and Kim Hyo Jin beats everyone and everything! EP3 was an emotional rollercoaster! The acting on this show is something else! I would be surprised if Eun Bin won't win another Baeksang. It's so refreshing to see two women not hating, instead loving and caring for each other! One minute you're crying because the scene is so sad, another minute later you're crying of laughter. What a well-written show so far. Also, if a show makes you cry because a character eating a freakin' ramyon, it deserves every award! Park Eun Bin, what a woman you are!👏👏👏
