I second the happy drama, although Tjr is very good at crying I really hope he does a drama that has no sad scenes as well

I have a theory that the childhood ghost thing wasn't because of her but rather the dad , the synopsis kind of spoils that he's the main villain and when the FL confronted her (lady Zhou) about it , she seemed more scared as if she was hiding a secret rather than guilty

Since the ML has been protecting the FL this entire time , I guess it's the FL to protect him now

I'm pretty sure someone else said it is a HE in the novel but the drama has differed a lot from the source. It's more of an inspiration rather than an adaptation

Icl I kinda want lady Zhou and the FL to work together, perhaps they'd find a common enemy because imagine what a powerful team they'd be, it's a shame these intelligent women are pitted against each other

I ought to disagree, I think he's able to successfully convey his character without needing to go over the top. His "ruthlessness" is meant to feel subtle after all his words are always polite yet they shelter malice. I think his role differs quite significantly from the double ML so it's obvious the actors will act them out differently.

She also doesn't seem to be the smartest, like she puts the FL in a worse position now rather than helping her
