If we watched the same drama you will notice that one of the main theme is how tightly knit is the community in Pureung, Jeju. They always look out for each other. Huron and Young Joo left by their Mothers at early age, and were raised by their Fathers and the whole village. So I’m sure they can find support from all those people around them too, and the baby will be loved by many. They’re mature enough to apologize to their Fathers and to face the consequences. That requires courage and strength that some adults don’t even have. Hardship and challenges will come to most married people, no matter how ready they are to have a family. So I agree wholeheartedly with the choice they made. The message that the writer tries to convey is not to lose hope.
I thought I won’t be rewatching this drama. But after the finale this goes straight to my ‘to rewatch list’ so I can savor every moment and understand the story better
