I would prefer if they dress down Darim a little bit. But itās always the case with these Kdramas āpoor girlā cliche. They barely make ends meet and still have to pay their parentās debt, but somehow they manage to put on beautiful and matching new outfit everyday. Branded handbags and shoes. Often with discreet gold and diamond jewelry. Thereās a girl in TikTok who makes parody of this trope. Sheās so accurate. And funny.
Watched the first episode. It has all the ingredients fora good romcom. The only thing thats irking me is that…
Yes I like her best in Hospital Playlist where she looks healthy. But here probably because sheās supposed to look like sheās malnourished. What with working all kinds of odd jobs and studying for exam.
Ep 6-7 are so good, you can feel their pains. I havenāt seen too many Japanese dramas, but this is my favorite one so far. I donāt want to watch it without subtitles, so I will wait patiently the next episode in NF.
Finally finished watching. I think the rating here is about right. I really love Ma Yi Deumās character, and JRW really nailed it. Just the right amount of cheekiness, bravado, and vulnerability. She really carried this drama. ML is cute but his acting is not spectacular. The cases in the beginning are interesting and a bit educational. But itās dragging toward the end, when the focus shifts solely towards the main antagonist. I skipped a lot of Jo Gab Sooās scenes. Canāt stand his phoney smiles. And one thing that I just canāt get my head around is, how many times they lost all the important documents and evidence. How come theyāre so careless and just put them lying around. Donāt they have cctv, security and safe cabinets?
Trying to finish this before Netflix removes it. It is a difficult watch, but worth it. Jung Ryeo Woon plays similar character with her role in Diary Of A Prosecutor, but here sheās even more interesting. I like her character growth. Great acting too.

Iām glad sheās finally doing a romcom.

Really love ep 6 though. Itās beautiful and bittersweet.
