As someone new to Lakorns, I personally loved this. This one seems a lot higher budget than the others giving it a less cringe feel. Being a lakorn means it has its share of frustrations but The chemistry of the leads are enough to make you stay. If you like watching the trials and tribulations of enduring true love youāll like this.
I adore this show. It truly surprised me with its emotional and psychological depth, I came into it initially thinking it was a lot simpler of a story. The acting is fantastic (go youn jung and kim seon ho never miss) and chemistry is unmatched especially the kiss chemistry. I recommend to anyone who loves to see two characters grow together and become people they can lean on.
How is Wan Pengās character in this? Does she get a good amount of screen time? Sheās one of my fav actresses so im hoping she plays an interesting character
Overall the ending was a disappointing as we lost the quality couple time weād been craving all episode. But Iām not gonna hold that against the show because of the dance scene š
IMO her parents are to blame for everything. They accepted to be paid off instead of supporting their child and…
I agree, even if the parents did sue all the emotional strain from the process would probably have led Hsiao Tung down the same path anyway. I think the largest turning point was the video being uploaded and her humiliation becoming much larger. I doubt suing wouldāve prevented this, but Iām not sure how successful a government would be in taking down a video that spread like hers.
Absolute tragic masterpiece. I feel so bad for the family she leaves behind after all they have been through with her. The ending seems realistic though unfortunately and it just shows the depth of her love for Jen Yao
Personally I really like this, but I can see why itās not everyoneās cup of tea. I think much of the criticism comes from the fact it aired weekly like most kdramas. Without being able to binge I can see this show being quite a frustrating watch but itās not a bad show at all not worth the rating. If you like angst and emotional depth youāll enjoy this
