[2/2]Now, my biggest issue: Heo Nam-jun. I’m sorry, but he’s just not the right casting choice. His performance…
You’re right. From the very moment in the taxi scene when he overheard that confession, I was expecting so much more from him. Like some deeper emotional response or reflection. It felt like such a crucial turning point that could have revealed a lot about his feelings, but it felt glossed over too quickly.

Then there was the confession at the beach, which had all the potential to be a powerful and heartfelt scene. The setting was beautiful, the timing was right, but the emotional delivery just didn’t land. It felt rushed and lacked the vulnerability or tension that should have made it memorable. It was like they went from “we’re just friends” to “I love you” without proper emotional buildup from their 7 yrs friendship at that scene, making the shift feel unnatural.

It seems the actor just couldn’t bring the needed emotion into those moments. His expressions and tone didn’t match the weight of the scenes, so instead of feeling touched or moved, the audience was left disconnected. Those scenes could have been emotional highlights of the drama, but they ended up feeling flat and underwhelming.
I'm sure he tried his best but could've been better

Yh after 7 yrs and all he did was basic human decency
"It's not like she was ever quiet to begin with"
You have to explain better because no one knew she likes him except JH and maybe SC....She didn't even tell JH, she found out one way.
If she didn't speak up that she liked him this time again, you guys would still blame her for that so I think it's better she did now.
I liked how her and JH are both matured with it

Jaelpil doesn’t understand his feeling and he can’t open a damn can? Oh nope RUN
Lol, ridiculous, right? But I think it’s because he doesn’t have nails long enough to do that. I believe they’re showing us these tiny details to highlight how well the two understand each other.
His confusion and lack of awareness of his own feelings caused issue

Well, it seems finally by tomorrow we will know who will end up together. At this point, hopefully YR chooses JH. JP's confusion led us to this

JH wearing an orange suit and YR getting an orange rose isn’t just a coincidence, right? Lol.
Dang, this writer is really good. I’m still confused about who will end up with whom.

That episode 6 ending scene might not mean much—they could just be friends. The writer has been toying with us for a while about who will end up with whom, so I’m not making any assumptions until next week.

There was a hint at the end of ep 1, the very end. Rewatch that
I saw that but I didn't get it was an hint.
It doesn't look like one

As of now, it’s pretty clear that Jae Pil has feelings for Jong Hui. But then, in one of the trailers, there were undeniable romantic vibes between Jae Pil and Yeong Rye, especially in that close-up moment where it seemed like he was about to kiss her. So I wonder where this is going.

SY’s whole issue with EJ and that guy getting back together felt more about the fact that she couldn’t stand the idea of EJ being happy while she wasn’t especially since she “liked him first.” The irony is that even when they didn’t date again, she was still unhappy. What she really wanted was for EJ to feel just as hurt and miserable as she did.
I'm glad EJ didn't date him again because he deceived her and got swayed. EJ never deserved that.

The writer’s decision to make her sick and kill her off at the end doesn’t erase the selfishness and toxicity she displayed throughout the story. To me, SY wasn’t a true friend to EJ at all. Instead, she was a draining presence in her life, more like a weight holding her back. She even went as far as using her illness to emotionally manipulate EJ, which makes her behavior all the more manipulative and unfair.
