Agreed and also there are two girls who like the boys
Yes, but on different international streaming platforms like Gagaoolala.
Do you remember what happened to Blue Canvas of Youthful Days (2024)? This is a BL series from China that first aired on iQIYI International, but the Chinese government restricted it and removed it from the original platform, iQIYI.
The series is already aired and completed but is airing on different international streaming platforms.
I am still seeing many people calling this a bl when it is literally about brotherhood , youth and friendship.…
Yup, I don't understand why people think that. In fact, back in 2020-2021, the Chinese government implemented new regulations about censoring Boys' Love (BL) content.
They do not know that if this series is a BL, it will not pass the review or obtain a distribution license from the National Radio and Television Administration.
Just to add, that's the reason why many BL content from china are still pending today due to new regulations. For example, Winner is King is still pending because of new regulations regarding censorship.

I just want to remind everyone who thinks this is a BL (Boys' Love) series to please stop 😭😭assuming that. If this series were truly a BL series, it wouldn't have passed the review process or received a distribution license from the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) in China.
For some context, back in 2020-2021, the Chinese government implemented strict regulations on media content, particularly regarding LGBTQ+ themes. These regulations, which specifically target BL content, were part of an effort to restrict the portrayal of same-sex relationships in television, film, and online media. The government made it clear that such content, if it promotes or showcases LGBTQ+ relationships, would face heavy censorship or be entirely banned from distribution.
The NRTA has stringent guidelines that any series must adhere to if it's going to be broadcast in China. For a series that includes LGBTQ+ themes to be approved, it has to be heavily altered or censored to fit within those guidelines. That means any show with open BL elements, or even characters shipped in a same-sex relationship, is very unlikely to pass the review process.
So agan, I ask that everyone remembers the context here. Due to these government-imposed censorship rules, a true BL series wouldn't be able to pass the review or obtain a distribution license. The content we’re seeing, even if it has some LGBTQ+ themes, likely doesn't fit the typical BL genre as we know it, because it’s been modified to meet the necessary standards for distribution in China.
😓 what BL aspect are y'all talking about cause their relationship is very much giving siblings/ consider each…
Yup, if this is a BL series, they will not pass the review and obtain a distribution license from the NRTA. Also, we already know that China has imposed new regulations regarding BL censorship, right? But why is someone thinking of this as BL and shipping them?
I came here from TikTok after seeing some posts and comments where people are tagging this as BL.
I already know that BL content from China has been censored. Additionally, all BL content from China has already been removed from its original platforms (Domestic).

I don't know the reason why they cut it.
Stay with me without breaking any rules? Stay with me, and all BL series from China have already been removed from their original platform (domestic).
Ship the main characters while one of them still a minor.

Bromance content is allowed in China, as the country already has BL censorship.
