I don't understand people putting down this drama. They are probably the same people who love or rate high, crap drama, just because they are "popular" or the main character is ruthless or knows how to fight etc. Oh well. We all have our own tastes and values. 😑...😋
This drama has a good mixture of genres that is kind of surprising, but entertaining and for the most part enjoyable. The acting was great as well. Rated it a #9.

I think you misunderstood her comment. She wasn't putting down Peng Xiaoran, but the Drama, or the story that it is coming from. Mark Chao is a good actor (at least from what I have seen), but Peng Xiaoran is as well. She may not be "perfect" in every way in some scenes in her acting, but she is incredible in crying scenes and she is by far, better at acting than quite a few other actresses, including some popular ones. You can have your own opinion though, of course.
