Even though it has a sad ending, it's a really good movie..I think you should give it a try... It's so beautiful, amazing, wonderful...... reagardless the ending

Yep... It's based on a true experience of the director as I remember.. Something like that...I'm not quite sure. Search it and you will be able to know details. Anyhow it's based on true story..that's for sure!!
By the way this drama is really very awkward..and that's because of directing/editing/production... So many flaws. I'm only watching because of characters. STORY IS GOOD..really good...(no matter how bad they show it, still we can understand what's the story here..and so we are able to get that the story is a good story). But I'm quite not sure about the story though..maybe it's also badly written.. But the way they show it is awful. Flow is terrible. Definitely it's not because of actors..I can clearly see they are doing really good besides a few scenes here and there.. (ONLY A FEW) They show some NOT FUNNY (not funny even a bit) scenes in an AWFULLY FUNNY way..they are funny but they are not supposed to be funny..not at all..so cz they are showing it in a funny way it's actually damn sickening/disgusting/awful..(aahhh...I don't even know which word I should use to explain that feeling..) I don't know why the hell they are doing it. Most of the time it feels like a photoshoot... Still I'll keep watching for the actors..and also as I said before, for this GOOD STORY...
P. S. Story is also awful... Only the story base is good..the base line of the story. (I don't know whether the base is the proper word I should use) However, it's like the content/summary/the messages is/are the only good thing in this one.
Uea's story (regarding mom and step dad) reminds me of Eylul (She also had similar like situation with her mom and step dad) from Orphan flowers turkish drama...
I just hope they make a similar like drama with a happy ending and give the main lead roles to Byeon Woo-seok and Kim Yoo-jung... And please don't use a huge time gap in there..🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏I mean, it's okay if you use a gap like about 8 or 10 years as if they were 17/18 during the beginning of the story and 25/26/27/28 at the end of the story... So there's no need to change the actors. And I have a feeling that it would be great if there is a sports theme for both male and female characters. Maybe both are doing the same sport or maybe 2 different ones... (just giving my opinion.. I would love to see both of them as volleyball players, or one of them is a volleyball player and other one is doing hurdling.) In the movie they jumped 20 years ahead to the ending...
I will never remove this movie from my movie collection..no matter how much of a heart break it gave I'll enjoy rewatching it again in the rest of my life. Even I don't have the courage to watch I'll never be able to delete this movie from my collection...
Hope they make a S2 with the same cast and there the main focus on Ma Wang, his son and wife. Of course Lee El should be there for his support as his loyal Secretary Ma Ji young..they should show Son oh gong and Jin seon mi getting together again too. Not only that, I would love to see what will happen to Lee han joo with the real estate agency now... How he will handle things...
