The Khun Yai at the end is the reincarnation of a descendant of Khun Lek so he comes from the modern era, his name is Yai Kanthorn and he has the memory of Khun Yai. that's why he said he always waited Jom.
As for the end credit, I don't know why they have shown us there since in the novel, it was before Jom came in 2023. Some people thought it could be a hint for a second season. But the tweet of Director Tee said the contrary, that he didn't think about making a second season because it take so much time to prepare it and he has other projects to make.

I feel like they missed the explaination that if Khun Yai is indeed reincarnated then why he suddenly remembered? To me, I'm going to pretend he did some research before and remembred it from time to time. I'm satisfied with this ending because It was too painful for me LOL
