Who said that writers are all psychologically normal? Imo, the way they write shows their mental state. Not everything is fiction.

It's not the name that will make WR realise who he is. HE HAS STARTED TO REMEMBER MR'S FACE. If you noticed, until ep94, in his dream the face of his mother was hidden, he could only see up to her neck. Yesterday, he saw her chin, almost saw her mouth. Once he sees a bit higher, it's game over!

I just watched the subbed episode (I was absorbed watching Kairos, wow, what a drama!). Yes, I also think they won't drag the reveal for long.

But, can he still stay silent if his father continues dragging her? 🤔

HS isn't the cleverest or bravest character but I believe his concience will eat him. SJ is the main protagonist and ofc the reveal will be her achievement, but I can see HS drunk spilling out the secret either to her or his drink buddy, WR.

Because it's 120 episodes and we need more dragging as if we didn't have enough already.

That practically means that the actors aren't that good because overactive or not the differences in each different character they portray should be obvious to the viewers. I agree with you, I have watched both mother and uncle a lot recently and their acting is pretty much the same.

I am dropping this. There isn't any chemistry between them, the plot is weird and the humor, if any, is crude.

True, books tend to be better and personally I have only two exceptions in mind: Poldark BBC 2015 - 2019 adaptation and Grantchester ITV season 1. The TV material had been superior to the book in every possible way.

I will let you know, sure! It will take some time as I have ordered the original book from Germany, and sadly real life doesn't leave a lot of free time for reading, but I will do it. I have a hunch that this adaptation has kept intact the scent of the book and as for the cultural differences, perhaps they aren't as grand as we imagine.

The first two episodes were captivating, dark, mysterious and heartbreaking. We all know that Jeongwoo isn't a murderer. We all suspect that this village has a lot of secrets. Everyone is a suspect.

I was taken aback with the detective's attitude after he was informed about Jeongwoo. Prejudice written all over his face. Glad that he realized by the end of ep2 that not everything is white or black.

Byun Yohan is doing a fantastic job so far. He portrays Jeongwoo's messed state of mind so well.

I haven't read the book, but I am so intrigued by the plot that I ordered it in my local bookstore. I have read some mixed reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, but overall ppl seemed to like it very much. It was Spiegel magazine's bestseller, that alone says a lot. Curious to see which is better, book or kdrama adaptation?
