Is the same usual overacting, u will get pass it just ignore lol.
That practically means that the actors aren't that good because overactive or not the differences in each different character they portray should be obvious to the viewers. I agree with you, I have watched both mother and uncle a lot recently and their acting is pretty much the same.
I feel that the fact that he lost his wife -probably because she was killed- contributed to that attitude, but…
True, books tend to be better and personally I have only two exceptions in mind: Poldark BBC 2015 - 2019 adaptation and Grantchester ITV season 1. The TV material had been superior to the book in every possible way.
I will let you know, sure! It will take some time as I have ordered the original book from Germany, and sadly real life doesn't leave a lot of free time for reading, but I will do it. I have a hunch that this adaptation has kept intact the scent of the book and as for the cultural differences, perhaps they aren't as grand as we imagine.
The first two episodes were captivating, dark, mysterious and heartbreaking. We all know that Jeongwoo isn't a murderer. We all suspect that this village has a lot of secrets. Everyone is a suspect.
I was taken aback with the detective's attitude after he was informed about Jeongwoo. Prejudice written all over his face. Glad that he realized by the end of ep2 that not everything is white or black.
Byun Yohan is doing a fantastic job so far. He portrays Jeongwoo's messed state of mind so well.
I haven't read the book, but I am so intrigued by the plot that I ordered it in my local bookstore. I have read some mixed reviews on Amazon and Goodreads, but overall ppl seemed to like it very much. It was Spiegel magazine's bestseller, that alone says a lot. Curious to see which is better, book or kdrama adaptation?
Finally, after 38 long episodes this drama has become interesting. Watching Dora kicking her mother out of her life is so satisfying. Her bond with Dojun is priceless.
I think he just doesn't know how to handle it. I also think they will get back together because Do Ri who has…
Just wait until he catches some real money in his hands. His leech mother will try to drain every cent from him and that will be his explosion point. For now, he is conflicted between the respect he should have for his parents (a very important matter for Koreans) and the resentment he feels because he knows what his mother really is. He can't handle it and I understand him.
The villains are really the ones who made the kdrama fans like me continue watching. Because I want to know how…
No one is saying that villains aren't necessary for the plot. However, for 93 x 30 = 2790 minutes there were how many? 100 minutes in total that the main leads were happy? This drama's fl isn't Hahm Eunjung, let's be honest. It's Kang Byul and there isn't a ml either. It's one woman show.
NY ordered JT to either tranfer WR far away or fire him.MR is in position to fire JT, but will it be possible? JT has already spread rumors of her mental state.
NY did obviously. The letter containing the sample was on the table. So she must have hatched a plan with JT to…
Nothing is too harsh as far as NY is concerned.
What if the DNA test was manipulated in the laboratory? That'd be more difficult to prove, but in this case, all fingers are pointing at JT.
I agree, SJ will definitely set a trap and will catch the two evil birds with one stone.
What on earth could MR's father have said in the preview that made JT look so evil? Was he threatening to disown HS and that's why JT made up his mind and abandoned HW 5 years later?
Ofc it's the fastest method. But I think that the writing here has focused on the psychological repercussions.…
I'd say that he's scared to remember. He has seen firsthand how toxic this family is and I don't think he wants to be a part of it.
NY... she thinks she's their savior because she's expecting her little bean (thank God, at least we got rid of this silly nickname in the last episodes, I'm sure the writers are reading us, lol) and is entitled to their wealth. I will cheer the day she is thrown out of their house.
Preview:
HS argues with JT and NY. It seems he will help MR(?) He is shown going to the restaurant.

It's pretty tiring, don't you think?
Either way, it's getting wild.
