I have a question for those who read the novel : do we know the age gap between the 2 couples?

Wouaaah! You expressed it so well. I also feel for Khem and despite of his flaws, I love him. He will grow and be a great owner, I'm sure.
I also believe that the problem here are the rules/boundaries in this club, I don't see or understand them : can they grope the host's butt, Wela didn't seem ok with it... And the guards?! Are they here for decoration!
I'm happy to see a wholesome view on khemtis, people seem to find him toxic and childish rich kid, kind of unfair in my opinion.

I'm sorry but I understand Khem, true, he is possessive and jealous, but what are the rules/boundaries in this club? I don't see any, nor do I see guards doing their job. OK, Wela said no sex with the client (I'm not even sure it's true), the guy was groping his ass and Wela did nothing, so my question is what are his boundaries because I don't see any.

As for khem, he has to do some effort to understand this world or leave it completely.
Well, really a rollercoaster! My heart hurt for khem, he sure has temper and makes mistakes but he's not toxic, in my opinion.

I didn't know that I needed that ending, Tharn finding his way back to Phaya by using peace and not war (everyone wanted a big fight with doc's death). This character is criticized so much but for me he is unique and so different, I am so happy for him and Phaya. Even with some flaws, the Sign was beautiful and refreshing...

I love this show. Still, there is something that make me ask questions : I feel that we don't see enough of Tharn and Phaya relationship development and couply moments, meaning that I want to see more of them as a couple. Is it the same in the book? And Tharn is a closed of character, how is he in the book?
I know that the show doesn't want to focus only on the main couple but...

Thank you! I totally agree with you, I find people really unfair with Tharn : he should do, he should have... He does his best to protect the people he loves, and knowing his past trauma...

What red flags, did you see how the doc behave himself with Tharn, what he said to confort him, Tharn doesn't see any red flag because there aren't for now. The doc took care of him way before Phaya came into the picture. Plus if I think about it, Wansart must have felt bad betraying her/his clan by falling in love with Garuda so I think there still is this guilt inside Tharn. He probably thinks he is the cause of a new war and Garuda's death. Thats why he is more closed of than Phaya about his feelings, people are unfair with Tharn. Sacrifying himself for Phaya every time shows that his love is as great as Phaya's. But ok everyone has his point of view.
And I believe that even when Tharn will discover the doc's true identity, he will not hate him, there're from the same clan and he feels guilty about everything.
