I gave your review a like, not because you’ve been spamming the comments with asking ppl to read it but because…
I've been writing reviews for six years here. I just gave you an idea of what an unbiased review looks like; of course your opinions are your own but you don't need to tell everyone in the comment section repeatedly to read it and like it to get a certain number of likes. That's not what reviews are for. Unfortunately, due to health reasons at the moment I can't, though I may try to. There are several reviewers who write from that standpoint as well.

I gave your review a like, not because you’ve been spamming the comments with asking ppl to read it but because it was thorough though not entirely explaining any negatives in which there were many. If you want to write a truly unbiased review, you will give the negatives a chance to air themselves out as much as the positives. Just some advice for the future. Honest unbiased writers, may link their reviews in the comments once but not spam the section. Ppl will read if they want to.
Not sure if it’s some sort of sign from my sick brain but I actually fell asleep around 5am with heavy headache meds (just another day at the what else can go wrong at the enigma health office), to different couplets of how to put together a review for this series; don’t know if y'all are secretly praying for me to write one or whatever energy it is lol. But was hella strange for sure. 😆
I’ve seen your other reviews before, and I really liked them. If you’ve already written something for this…
Thank you I appreciate it. Yeah with the reviews skyrocketing and most of them being very similar. I will probably not write anything in that section but just come here and comment on what I thought in general and if that seems like a review to some people then maybe I will copy and paste it into there and call it a day but otherwise it’s just going to be considered a comment that will be buried with all the other ones lol. Yeah the military arc was very disappointing so I have no idea what neither the screenwriter or nor the director were really thinking about what they did given what ZLH himself said in numerous interviews regarding what he actually filmed. But I’m hoping that these last five episodes will bring our general back to life so to speak.

I think it started off very strongly and then it just kind of tapered off the military arc disappointed me a lot and this palace arc since we just started it we will see how it goes. I know that a lot of people who don’t rate something at 10 or don’t rainbow fart something into oblivion are labeled as haters and you know, I really don’t care because it’s just another person sitting behind a phone or a keyboard. Whenever I wrote my reviews, I would write what I liked and what I didn’t like in an unbiased fashion, it wasn’t because of the way an actor did something or whatever I would always look at it from the standpoint of the screenwriter. Because it’s ultimately their words that are turned into action. And if it’s weak screenwriting, then that’s what gets transmitted to the audience via the actors. I like those dramas were the actors have input with the director about how to say a certain line or perform a certain action or do something. Sometimes they have it sometimes they don’t. In this case, I kind of felt that the director overpowered the actors a lot because you hear them talk about that in their interviews how they were always nervous about what the director would queue them to do next. I find that to not be a very professional thing. I understand a director has a vision, but you also have to be realistic because an audience has to believe what they are saying and if you make something too unbelievable like what I felt happened within the military arc it hinders the natural development of characters and the drama. I also look at things from a certain point of view because I myself am a novelist/author as well as a former editor of screen place or scripts from friends that work in higher places so to speak. So if I would write something, I wouldn’t be writing it from just in opinion based whatever. I would really think about how it looks from someone who’s writing it or editing it.

Before I honestly didn’t even care, how many comments or rather how many other reviews there were I would just write it, and I knew that the people who appreciated my reviews would’ve read them regardless of whether they were on the first page or the second to last page since the last page is usually for people they’re right in foreign languages. But I want to give a drama like this something that people can understand and agree with them there will be some that disagree with it as well, so we will see how it goes. In any case, we are finishing the last five episodes with all villains and all their treachery and I really hope that the edit ending is satisfying and not what I’ve been hearing on the street based off of the stupid leaks, so we shall see. In any case there are still a few good reviewers out there that write their opinions, but keep it in an unbiased manner and are still able to convey properly what they want.
