They need carbs and protein too; the men are so thin now, bones are protruding through their skin. When you can see a person’s ribs on their breastbone, that’s scary. It needs to stop.

I concur. I’m a multi-fan so don’t belong to any one fandom and that gives me free range to support those I follow but only if the drama speaks to me (I’m inherently picky lol) and I follow currently 27 ppl; about 4 or 5 closer then the others. In this series, I follow TJR but I also know much of the rest from either MJTY (since like 80% are part of the support lol) or I’ve seen them elsewhere and liked them. The plot whatever it is, looks solid though we know with GJM there will be plenty of tears, death, and angst. So very much looking forward to it. Because they’ve gone into month 5 of filming (original end date was January 18th) unless it breezes through review and doesn’t need to much post production editing; we may even see towards the end of this year though I think it’ll be bumped to next year.
TJR is back to hair and makeup and apparently has a whopping 21 scenes to do today. 9 hours since he left and a 19 hour shift. And there's no problems with production? I'm going to guess HMH is not far behind. 💔

Neither was SF4. But he got that great part. The market there for dramas sucks right now plus actors need exposure and/or backers. Many just starting out or even those who've been around for a bit can't find their footing. Not to mention that actual good scripts are few and far in between. Then you have bad/none-improving ppl with great backing that take the good scripts away from the talented but less known actors. Until that improves, we'll just support the ones that work hard and hope they get where and what they deserve.

That I understand; however, if an actor continues to only play one role and not branch out even a little bit, then directors and screenwriters won’t even look at that person for something that they could be potentially really good at.

I’ve only seen two of GJM’s films and they were short but he wasn’t in either that I recall. I’ve already seen him this year in SF4. He did a good job as a morally gray character. But A League of Noblemen is where I first saw him; dude knows how to play creepy very well. I want to see him as a protagonist for once. Otherwise, he may be typecast.
