Did they really just spend an entire episode of her crying everywhere including the airport? I get it it’s a separation but don’t spend an entire episode on it. I’d say that one was more filler. Let’s see what the next one brings.

LMAO! You don’t need to put that in spoilers. But that is actually true and I think that the rock would be probably smarter. I’d take her with Xiu’er over him any day of the week lol. Like the character is great when it comes to the battlefield stuff and the army stuff; stay there! No they made him basically unbearable in any other situation. And now he killed our SML’s bro to boot. Because why not right? 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
I did not just see that, did I? ML shot the bro and didn’t even blink? You let the bad guy get away why not chase after him? Are you that special? Go see who the hell you shot. What if it’s one of your own? There’s a human being dead in the street that you killed. OK I guess suspension of reality is needed here. That was a serious screwup. I don’t know who wrote that I don’t know why, but just dumb as hell!
CYQ is just on fire I mean between his panther like possessiveness and now he’s heartbroken over basically losing the one person who ever cared about him that was beside him because a dumb ass couldn’t shoot an arrow the right way. My heart just breaks for him. Obviously not a bad person or a villain just on the other side of the coin. And so much chemistry with FL that in 2 short episodes blew whatever the heck they’ve been trying to force on us with the ML for 22 episodes out of the water.
On a positive note, I’m very proud of WRC as he’s kicking butt in this role. He definitely needs ML roles. Thus far I’ve only seen him in one of those where he got the girl in the end, but it was a modern drama. And he got the girl as an SML in a different modern drama, but I want to see him as the ML that gets the girl in a costume drama and something that is a good one and well written. Because though I like this one, it has a lot of problems.
Edit: CYQ is awesome; “She ran away but someday, I’ll marry her the formal way and talk to my dad.” Dude if you can make it happen, I’m all for it. Let ML be emperor with a harem…don’t care. All of his moments that are not war room related make me roll my eyes (because all he does is whine like a little bitch. When did she promise herself to you? Like go away!)

Honestly, this drama didn’t even need the romance; the war all the complications, the revenge it has enough plot wise. But forcing the leads together just for the hell of it, I just personally don’t like it.
Am I the only one that feels the “relationship” btwn A Mai and SYZ is forced? Like he’s just unlikeable and I don’t feel it between them. Because he’s the ML, they gotta have something. He acts like a total fool and the switch btwn that and competent general is like a whiplash each time; like he’s got MPD or something. Her and CYQ are so much more likely, though things move real quick. Their tension and chemistry is real. Btwn the two, this is one of those times I wish SML got the girl, but if that doesn’t happen, I’d rather her be alone at the end, just living peacefully somewhere. Writers really messed that up.
