You know a big part of me wants to just maybe watch tomorrow’s two episodes and then wait until February 1 to finish because unless they do an express which I doubt since we get 2 episodes every day, I want to know the end before I continue with this crazy train we’re about to have.

Oy lord I hope not. But with that grand monster, anything is possible. Previews show her sowing the discord seeds with ZY by getting him to believe his other Shifu died after seeing that demon guy. This is going downhill tomorrow for sure. Oy….🤦🏻‍♀️

That’s what I was saying because the original ending was not happy in the slightest but the calendar looks like two people are happy; so hopefully all four survive and we get that HE for our leads to be together. Stop the cycle of obsession and violence.

I think the reason for that was they wanted to keep some of what was in the original IP. From what I read from those who were familiar with the RPG game XX and SY really were in love but she chose to go with dad for her beliefs. They change that in the drama to make mom and dad really love each other and have XX just be obsessed with her. I also think there aren’t that many scenes because both are dead, and nobody really remembers them being together all the time. If one or the other was alive, I’m sure that there would be more scenes of them together.

You’re welcome. It was very good up until those six episodes because they crammed everything in and it was literally like one death right after the other, and the audience felt like they couldn’t come up for air.

Yes, that moment happened, and he also recalled her taking YTQ‘s hand which pissed him off the most. Obviously, he’s not going to remember their moments because he wasn’t there.

A Journey to Love.

We haven’t had that many scenes with dad and mom because they’re coming from XX‘s memory. He obviously he’s going to remember what he knows. I don’t think she loved him, because there was an episode where she specifically said in order for our swords to have a connection, we have to deeply love each other, which made it sound like she obviously didn’t. So I don’t think that moment happened on the platform. I think as soon as she heard that the war was against Heaven‘s will is when she broke the sword from its contact.

I knew they were going to leave the war until the end, grand monster and XX’s respective obsessions continue. But now we know 💯 that the war was against heaven’s will and that YTH’s parents loved each other and XX was just that obsessed. It’s pretty ridiculous that the grand monster could tell XX that he’s obsessed with a woman that never loved him but can’t handle her own obsession. And the question becomes will YTH become powerful enough to put an end to everything? So demons and humans can coexist?

After AJTL, where they killed off literally just about everyone including the two leads in 6 episodes….I wouldn’t put anything past anyone. But I agree, I hope they untangle ZY’s demon knot fast before he repeats the mistakes of the elders.

Yes a climactic end sure but not when you’ve got so many elements going on already that you have one of the main 4 stray to the “dark side” so to speak. Even if it’s for a little while. Meng Li doesn’t deserve that from him. I hope he comes to his senses before XX uses his hatred as a weapon for himself. XX has wanted everyone to be on his side but he’s got to be loyal too; which I’m not sure he’ll be once no longer entombed.

Probably lol. They really do need to wrap this. TJR was overheard telling a fan he may not be able to go home for CNY. How many more days will GJM aka the warden, keep them? The cast has other obligations; what happens there?

Saw somewhere, though I’m not sure how true it is; that XX is responsible for them losing that war 19 years ago and he harmed the woman he supposedly loved or did something to her because he was delusional with wanting power and exterminate the entire demon clan to become an immortal. Many of his sect members died because of him probably including ZY’s master. So now when he gets out of the ice, I doubt he’ll be thinking about saving the sect; just using them as canon fodder. He has other things in mind. So perhaps not a good guy after all.

I guess they really turn up the angst starting tomorrow but to stick an existential crisis for ZY in the last 10 episodes wasn’t smart. Will put a spoiler below ⬇️.
