The only thing about the series that we know is what the costumes, wigs, and accessories look like. We don’t have a clue about the story or even the scenery. If you see anything on that here, it’s all guess work. Why there’s so much of it is because production is allowing fans to take pictures and videos of the costumes. Very little is closed off considering the secrecy behind the actual storyline. This series didn’t even have a booting ceremony and we don’t know who most of the supporting cast are either. Hope that answers your question.

Both went into makeup within 20 minutes of each other; let’s hope it’s not another 18 hr day.

And the names of the cast would be great too a.k.a. characters. So we could finally fill in all the blanks. A trailer is necessary because we need to know some sort of synopsis, so we are no longer guessing. This has been a four month game of Clue lol.

From what I understand some people are saying January 18, other people are saying January 21. So I guess we can only just see when it happens. I do hope they release official wrap photos at least since we didn’t even get a booting ceremony.

Originally it’s supposed to be 110 days and that ended on January 10. So I’m not sure how far over they’re going to go at this point it can even go into the end of this month. Yes they do have to stay in character I suppose, but not to the point where it harms their health.

Yeah, that’s because TJR had that whole thing with his brothers character to film and I think it’s stretched into yesterday, but then others got to film as well. I don’t know how long these breaks last, but even if they do get to sleep they’re obviously not getting the proper nutrition that they need.

But it’s a widespread problem in their industry it’s not just one Director or production company. But there are still some actors that managed to not go very thin and still work with good directors in good series. I think it really calms down to the contracts that they sign. They need to put these clauses into the contracts themselves.

I know that they have breaks because you can’t film different scenes at the same time but I don’t think the breaks are substantial enough to warrant like a good nap or a proper meal. Unless they’re supporting characters that don’t have that many scenes. Either way they are human beings who are actors, and like I said, not first responders who are used to dropping everything and working 24 hour shifts at a clip.

I wonder what happens to actors that actually say “no I’m going to eat and I’m going to stay healthy and I don’t care if you want me to be 70 pounds underweight!”

This is why, quite often onset. You see injuries, because people are not taking care of themselves, nor are taking good care of by production, and sometimes even their own agencies/studios. It’s just a never ending hamster wheel, and the crews are barely paid at all it’s like slave labor almost. I don’t understand the necessity of it. Here in the states, we have labor laws to protect anyone in any profession, from this kind of neglect for lack of a better term. Their entertainment industry is far worse than Hollywood I think, ever was before.

Diet policy? They are already skinny as hell, what’s he trying to do? Turn them into skeletons or wait until they land themselves in the hospital with anemia or worse?

Unfortunately not, according to that tg thing, I saw this from a TJR fan site, I translated it: “TG eleven thirty into makeup, (Postponed by two hours).” Person hoped the 11:30 was fake and it was really delayed until 1:30.
Seems to me that both TJR and HMH go into make up within 15 minutes or so of each other and leave about the same time; same goes for the end of the day.

Sadly, nothing any of us can do about it. I’m not even sure whether it is the Director’s thing or the production company; but whoever is in charge of this nightmarish schedule, that also somehow dictates their food intake needs a serious overhaul before God forbid someone lands in the hospital.

I don’t think Lester films as long as the adults plus he’s got school. But the guys at least have lost a lot of weight to the point that when TJR was at an event a few days ago and was wearing a suit that exposed his chest a bit, you could count the ribs on his breastbone. Now that was disturbing as multiple fan cameras captured it and not from a close proximity either.
Whenever they go for hair and make up, they always wear oversized and bulky clothes so you can’t tell, but when they are in fitted outfits, it’s very easy to tell just how thin they are. This was one example that I got to see unfortunately.

I’ve heard of long hours and crazy schedules over there but not back to back without a day off. No wonder they all lost so much weight.

Wtf?!? And now I'm seeing they got to go back by like 1pm their time and only because they were granted a 2 hour delay. That's just nuts! Even the director left earlier. They're gonna drop if they don't eat and rest properly.

Doesn’t seem like any of them went home? 18 hour day sans CDL who went to Weibo night and maybe the kid. Craziness, ppl can’t work that much and long. They’re actors not first responders.

Edit: 2 hours ago this conversation happened btwn a fan and TJR who asked if TJR was getting off work; apparently even the director had left but he and I’m assuming others were staying.
