That’s a huge reason but is he with an agency? They should help with script choices. I thought Alibaba was backing him but maybe that happened after this thing. He should have stayed quiet and not apologized; production was the primary reason for the debacle so instead of making him their scapegoat, they should have stepped forward. Besides, they’re the ones in charge of marketing and getting investors not him. Hope he never works with such unprofessional idiots again.

I’ve seen some really good ones where YY is concerned both in YAMG and Fireworks; the others were in recent times Falling into You, ADOS, Fake it till you make it. A few others. Chen Xiao and YY are pros lol.

Oh right, I heard about that. Didn’t watch it but from what I was told; the script was a mess and CGI was cheap. Though from what I understood he got caught in the crossfire of why he chose such a lousy script; I didn’t know he took the fall for production’s mistakes. That’s not right. Why would or how could an actor be responsible for things he’s got no literal control over? That makes no sense to me whatsoever. Script choices ok that’s a small error but I don’t think he knew going in what a mess it would be; actors last checked weren’t psychic. Why didn’t the hate go to scriptwriter and director? That’s their literal jobs!

Yeah, hate when they do that especially in modern dramas. Who needs the dead fish kissing in mature adults? 🤦🏻‍♀️ I want to see a real make out session not eyes open staring with a huge spotlight in the background for the deer in headlights look 🤦🏻‍♀️.
