Gradually yes, but not the way it was done here. Smack off the bat while telling them to be fearless men. Thats how you drive someone to suicide. That's the direct opposite of how treatment goes. That's like one of the last steps and not done by inexperienced counselors. And before you ask me if I'm a doctor, the answer is no but I've suffered from PTSD from various traumas over decades.
