Exactly, even though she was gorilla glue and still smiles like an idiot at the strangest moments; like you were just traumatized and yet snaps out of it all 😁. It's a bit of a whiplash. But I think SML figured it out once he realized she was the girl his captain saved and her stubborn as nails personality. He's also just slightly smarter on the romantic side of things; getting his boss to watch idol romance dramas wasn't one of them 🤣.

I like LRL a lot. First time I saw him was in a costume drama with Reba and Vengo Gao, he had a great character there. Then he actually played an antagonist in WRTW and was convincing, after which a medical modern where he did a better job then the ML, now here. He’s kind of that mature self deprecating humor actor. But he’s good.

He got a taste of it from the smooch to her “training” him to their shared experiences and that was the best 🤣🤣🤣. After realizing her trauma, he said more to her in walking her back to her dorm than he did in the first 6 episodes plus the smiling helps. Looks like our stern Captain is melting into a puddle of love.
