Off topic of plot, but did anyone else notice the child actor from TLB and TBW here too? He's really growing into his own. Even though thus far he's only had a bit of time on screen, you can see him gaining more experience. Just thought it was cool to point out; I believe he goes by Oscar He here.

This seems to be what has been happening. Would be very cool if YX and SYN planned this out together or separately to bring big bad out of hiding and into the light. Looking forward to see how all of this unravels in the last ten eps. I also hope LGC doesn't ask YX to kill someone he cares about.

Her real surname is Kou. The rest? Who knows? Could be dead but this one integrated into society with a fake name. Then again YX isn't his birth name either. So the mystery does continue.

I like it a lot! It gives a character more dimensions and makes the story more interesting. I don’t want to jinx anything but I hope this series and others continue to do just that.

It could be the one SYN was supposed to marry; he seems to know more then he says. I guess we’ll see in today’s episodes how he’s introduced as he’s been given very limited screen time so far. I don’t trust LGC much either yet. What I like about this series is basically every character sans kids is morally grey. Obviously there’s a bunch of bad guys but not a single character of the leads and main support is a goodie two shoes. So much more realistic.

Well he cultivated for 15 years now his life is exciting albeit a bit dangerous lol.

In the beginning he used others as pawns in his schemes but once he started putting himself out there as he himself said, if I don’t risk everything myself, what’s the point of justice? Not verbatim of course but you get the point. He will def get something no bueno happening to him. Otherwise, why align with the imperial system? She may not be the main villain but she’s certainly up there and with only 10 episodes left, you really think they’re going to chuck in someone unexpected? Nah, main villain has to be someone we already know but haven’t figured out. Could be Yuntai’s master playing both sides.

The main one seems to be mommy dearest at the moment and we don’t know who the master of Yuntai is either. MBF is all about money. YX didn’t know or maybe it hadn’t occurred to him that there were two factions of Lingyuan sect in town at the time of the entrance of the imperial ppl. Not like his gf tipped him off about her younger bro. So he’s not perfect nor faultless nor flawless but they do underestimate him. And he adjusts each scheme or level accordingly.

Best part is they all think they're going to get him while looking down at him and he's like just chilling, biding his time before going "bitch hold my beer" or wine in this case. Checkmate.

I think he's always had things under control. Everything save for FL and falling for her, has been in his hands. I think once he gets out of his funk, he'll be back to "normal". He needs variables in order to work his schemes and even she's one. Now it's just a matter of time to see whether she'll be an asset and friend or a liability and therefore foe.

Haven’t watched todays yet; but I’m guessing YX has figured everything out hence the heart broken emoji and now comes the figuring out how to bring that entire sect down especially if they’re responsible for the massacre.

P.S. Finally watched. Love how everyone underestimates him but he’s got them all by the throats. Woof that last bit was painful. Only 10 episodes left, I wonder how they're gonna wrap those up.

I wonder how the officials and all of those greedy sects and their stuff plays out. This show always keeps you guessing, which is cool. It's not boring nor tropey.
