This is certainly not the longest wait; let's not exaggerate. Ppl waited 3 years for The Wolf and nearly 2.5 for OOL. This wrapped in August of 2021, so not even at the 2 year mark. Many other dramas and/or their sequels are 5 plus years and still waiting. So let's cool our jets; besides chances are WDB will come first as it does have its license. And this one will come when it will. Tencent or other platforms can do many things but they can't speed up censorship reviews. Stay blessed & don't get discouraged 😇.
Finished it just now and I don’t know about all of y’all but the cliffhanger was actually very well done. But I’m with everyone when I say I hope in season 2 Han Heng is the first to lose his head and all other organs; he’s just a total slimeball! Will write a review in the next day or two.
I know a lot of the actors in S1 but don’t get the hate for WL; he’s a child actor and a good one. Now as a young adult he’s playing great roles. It’ll be a shame if literary no one from S1 returns. But I guess I’ll see. I wasn’t going to watch it but coming to the end of S1, maybe I’ll give it a whirl to see if this new cast has any chemistry like the part 1 cast did.
Lots of productions got delayed by the events over the last 3 yrs as in shut downs. So 5 yrs is not unreasonable.…
Oh this I know, neither do I in that sense, and it is what it is. But when you invest a lot of time into one cast and then have to somehow flip to another, it's hard. So while I wish production the best and hope it's a hit, I personally won't be watching.
