He's the only one from this cast I actually follow. A few others are familiar too like that crazy leader that Wuxin cut his skills for as a sacrifice played the Great Khan in The Long Ballad. And that Nanjue main warrior who ties up LWJ while Wuxin beats the snot and maybe some sense into XS played an important antagonist in the first half of The Untamed. Oh and I've seen Consort Xuan in two series though she's the most ignorant here, but good actress. Little things like that took a while to suss out but the rewatches are worth it; you discover new things each time.

Even though all were neutered, only Jade eunuch has a feminine aura...all the others act like pissed off men. I don't see how director's power is feminine. Getting your manhood chopped off back then didn't make them female; it just hindered in that particular area of their lives. One doesn't have much to do with the other. Maybe it was to give a clue but it confused instead.
