They marketed it poorly. Because this was CCTV's tribute to aviation, they've been touting just that since filming started, bringing in a specific audience interested in that storyline. Romance wasn't hyped but subtly explained. Which was perfectly understandable. However when it aired it did a 180 thus far focusing on company politics and romance much more than originally explained. Hence the confusion. For ppl used to couples, romance, emotions etc coming out the wazoo, this is great....sure. But for those of us who like a bit more substance in our storylines especially with what was originally promised; this is a watered down version. I just hope it levels out before the ending.
