Early review: This is such a snooze-fest drama for me. The investigation and everything - are pale in comparison…
I agree the transitions are a little abrupt and the writing on the screen is annoying as hell, but every single show has flaws. I watched all the shows you wrote about up top now (only one Dr. Qin) I don’t compare shows at all, but if they do have a drug narcotics thing and homicide and narcotics combined to solve cases as well, that could be interesting. They just need to make those transitions a lot smoother. Having said that the show may just not be for you. Decide for yourself.
Just because there are lips doesn’t mean it’s a kiss scene. It could be something related to a case as the others are. If you look above, there are no tags for romance and I really hope there’s no romance in this series because these types of series do not need that tag actually a lot of series don’t.
So his friend from school knows that ML does not like her. He has made it clear a few times apparently and yet she’s still keeps hoping for what exactly? I think she needs to start looking somewhere else. And stop annoying him about it as well. This is a crime series. Please don’t stick any romance into it! Very unnecessary, especially unrequited love as that just derails crap. If at any point in the future, something happens with the leads or how many other couples we’re starting to get an inkling of that’s great awesome if they work otherwise don’t even bother and please for the love of God keep it at a minimum. I hate when they jam unneeded romance into series that do not need it. 🤦🏻♀️ No tag for it either.
The only thing that’s driving me batty is the fact that they have to type out on the screen like a bunch of cadets from the police Academy are watching this and it actually means something when in reality it’s just a fictional crime series. This propaganda BS is annoying. And it just takes away from time actually spent on the cases and the storyline; it’s in-cohesive; messes with the flow.
I was wondering the same thing after they introduced the Narcotics division. I am hoping she is a CI, because…
That’s what I was thinking because it wouldn’t make any sense for them to introduce the narcotics division if she wasn’t part of that crew since ML is in homicide. And yes, the alternative would be heartbreaking but now I have a little glimmer of hope that she’s either undercover or a CI. Because when the two chiefs or whatever they were big cheeses of narcotics, were talking about the two big druglords one who she’s with and the other one who I guess they’re trying to do business with they mentioned “their CI” so that’s who I’m guessing she is. Maybe whoever harmed her which was previewed in episode five like the bosses found out did drugs and that was her way of getting back at them? Totally guess work on my part no idea. Obviously she’s working somehow with the cops to have approached or “met“ one of the druglords in a bar five years ago, so that’s some intricate groundwork so I think it could be a combo undercover/CI because regular CI’s are just drug dealers themselves that snitch on bigger fish for money or for whatever. But it clearly also said that she and her drug lord, whatever he is to her boyfriend, husband, something or other don’t actually do the drugs and their “rules“ state that no one in their gang does drugs either; they just manufacture and distribute. Hence, I think she works with narcotics somehow and infiltrated that world. Hopefully we find out soon and they don’t keep us and the ML guessing.
