A random article from a random site doesn’t qualify as a factual news source. The no more then 50 episodes “rule” has been in place since 2020. They don’t strictly enforce it so again, why should it matter here? You want to pick apart every sentence I write, go right ahead. I’m done with this nonsense. Ppl do believe anything and everything ppl write so my only advice to you for the future? Don’t believe every blog you read online and unless strictly enforced by their government, don’t quote it as “news”. Have a nice day.
I don't know how you have patience to keep watching this as I would have thrown my iPad out the window by now.…
The delusion has surpassed reality and has entered the twilight zone of fucked up with his character. I feel for the actor; my skin would crawl if I was him.
I think they got infected by the delusion. No sane person who appreciates and understands plot cohesion and development would rate this craziness that high 🤮.

Fighting? That's a bit dramatic, don't you think? I just don't like fake news is all. CCP was trying to implement under 50 episode rule not 40. If you know they're not taking it seriously, why bother to mention it at all? Create a topic of discussion and go there; not required in comment section.
7 something hours till the end of this mess and while I do love many of y'all but I don't think I've ever wanted to leave a drama this far behind before. You'd think the thing was covid, yeesh!
I'll disagree; my darkest fiction has a lot of romance in it. It all depends on what's written and how. And whether of course it passes their review. Money does speak louder especially living in a socialist country where your soul is worth less then RMB. But those of us novelists who care about our work/stories...when you put that much effort in....money means less then quality work. But I guess I have a soul and know the value of my work.

This guideline has been in place last year but their own review board doesn't follow it; look at ELOD for an example. TU less fully stipulated by their government agency, treat all as just whatever. Remember, many ppl will believe anything you write so therefore, make sure you have it from their government agency that's actually taken into account. I don't say this lightly.
Finale 10 minutes of a happy ending and some dumbass redemption arc even for ZX. 🤮
Yep exactly. And my heart hurts for them. If only they were allowed to adapt more works from internet novelists beyond their stupid Great Wall, they would have many ppl working. There are so many amazing international novelists that would fit within their scope but because of their own "security" bullshit, they can't read good work by whomever. China, though abundant with ppl doesn't have too many novelists or authors willing to put effort into creating characters for these ppl.

That's fake news. Please don't spread false news. There are dramas coming out next year with over 50 episodes. While they prefer to keep it under 50; that's not always the case. Unless theres an official announcement by their government that says anything to what you have said, plz don't assume. Qing Lang isn't limiting to 40 either.

I've followed him since CQL. He's a good actor and deserves quality work. I saw 2 sisters in the Chaos too and his and his SFL's arch were way better then both leads. I've spoken to a netizen who said that they don't have enough good scripts to go around. I saw your comment previously and though I didn't reply, I do agree that good actors need better scripts and the best way is for novelists to write scripts themselves. I've done it before; it's tedious and a pain in the ass but a ton better then having some nut job do a half assed job like here or what was done to Princess Agents.
I am not kidding when I've said in multiple comments, I'd fail the screenwriter if she submitted this work to me in class. I don't brag/advertise it in the slightest but I have friends in Hollywood who are screenwriters and I've read one script currently being made into a film. I'm a novelist/screenwriter (though only by hobby) myself so I don't say this lightly, I'm very strict when it comes to screenwriters and the one here must have been on weed or something because this is a mess of proportions I've never seen before. I feel very bad for the author. I'd never sell the rights to any of my novels (and I actually want to turn one of them at least into a film someday); I heard from a netizen that there aren't many good scripts around. Well no shit! If the novelist doesn't write their own script, but just sells their rights it's going to be adapted by some inexperienced shmuck into a mess like this!
