In the novel she's supposed to be 13 years old. Maybe that's the reason for he acting this way. That was also the…
I think it’s safe to say she’s not 13 or 15. I’m glad the rat race for everyone in the palace wanting to marry her is over but seems like the entire series is set on her and them having constant problems with ppl around them trying to frame them or kill them. I’m wondering if the title means something else now because I’m guessing censorship didn’t approve of the rebirth portion so maybe it’s got to do with her journey and along with her husband becoming an important force. Just a guess.
In the novel it's said they cannot consummate the marriage because she's too young . Dunno why they changed it…
I think he’s faithful no matter what what’s her face pulls. And apparently btwn her and the Li lady of the house, they pull a lot. I hope that Li Qian puts them in their place along with his father soon. This petty bullshit better not take 20 episodes considering they haven’t even introduced all of the characters yet.
Yeah, both ep 11 n 12 are like an hour long too so ffw through 8-10 and watching 11 n 12 make it all worth it...
The actor is the reason I’m watching in the first place. I really hope that after ML saves his life in 16, he finally steps out of that woe is me attitude and becomes a friend and ally to our couple. I don’t want him to be jackass the entire time. I liked his acting since CQL but played an jealous ass there until like the last episodes. LOTSITC his character was wonderful and that’s more of what I want to see. Crossing fingers he’s not a douche because it seems practically everyone else around the leads are.

I may skip and get into a holding pattern till halfway through which is episode 20. Just because petty and angsty ain’t my thing. Once ppl here watch more they can spoil.
I think it has a better plot than AFSAATIC though.
I try not to compare them just because there’s always fundamental differences. Even if they’re slight. No stalkers here yet though a lot of ppl set out to do them harm from the get go. Hopefully that doesn’t drag on.
Ok finished 12; so now she left one hot mess household for another? Wish these costume dramas didn't have ppl moving in with their in-laws. There's always some sort of trouble.
So hang on, because she was poisoned, they can't be intimate for 2 years? That's bizarre.
Dear lord how many men want to marry the lead? And why can't she speak up about who she would prefer to marry, granted he's not being very forthcoming circa episode 10. I'm ready for them to get together already. 🤦🏻♀️
I wanted to tell you guys a little something personal; why SML made my skin crawl more then most here. I had 2 stalkers; One online about nine years ago and another in person 20 years ago in college. The online one was dealt with very quickly. But the one in college required many classmates and friends to get involved and stand up for me. It was incredibly scary. I hope that, no one else has to ever go through that kind of fear whether in person, online, or watching it happen in a series. Please if you see stuff like this; don't watch it. Because it glorifies this kind of behavior and that's not right. Thank you for reading.
I personally think acting a creep is a lot easier than acting like a nice guy LOL.
I'd have to disagree; just because acting like a creep takes a lot of studying of psychology to be convincing. And this dude nailed the creeper vibe like no one I've ever seen in c-dramas. ~shudders~
