Just like their meeting in 38 to discuss strategy he goes "if I hadn't been healing my ppl from the plague, I would have gotten you out earlier." And he hasn't even seen elf king yet plus he gets a dose of the celibate one in 39. Poor guy, can't catch a break. XD

Or like the hugs he gave her; it wasn't until epi 38 that she even returned them properly without acting like a stiff doll. Prior to that, all hugs were more or less one sided.

Him fanning himself with the hat was Hysterical when she was chatting with master. And just when he said he didn't want any "bad" men coveting her. Dude you don't want any men to look at her period! And him being jealous of the elf king would have been priceless. There are a lot of golden nuggets like that that just had me rolling with laughter. XD

Ice melt was previously ice cube but his name changed as he did lol. With the slap heard around the world, he started his evolution which meant I needed to change his nickname appropriately too.

I noticed that in whichever episode when they were leaving Luoyang. I was like dude are you going to look cross eyed at every man not grandfather aged that she's friends with?? Master would def beat him in sword fighting; but he's so silly with the jealousy because she's his and he can't lose her to another man. It's not like the celibate one who always looks like he's in pain when he sees her with Ah Sun and I get so much pleasure from rewatching that. I need help I'm aware lol.

I don't know if it had anything to do with his health but the knife in her back and telling him he was important to the country probably was what did it. He was loyal to his emperor but not entirely. He also looked at his own interests. So I'm glad they killed him off in a redemption arc, but like the Great Khan, he's not a character that grew on me later.

There were a few things that were funny in the series. These two tough guys acting about 15 always was one of them.

Anyone else find the elf king of Mobei and King of Monan acting like teenagers around each other? Always fighting and when CG calls them out, they'd go "he started it?" Though I think elf king though pretty, was tougher and more decisive of the two. Thoughts?
