I agree. There was a lot of funny moments that were right on point but then all of a sudden it seemed all of the supporting characters who haven't been killed off were becoming evil. It literally makes no sense. And I haven't finished watching it. I will but it seems that this series should have been maybe 24 episodes long, not 40. I'm an author and writer myself and the plot and character development fell apart somewhere.

It's up to 34 on Tencent Video too.

Life is depressing enough. The least they can do is make series with good endings. But I think that's also why the top stars don't take these scripts, because they fall apart and everything gets weird. I am watching it solely for the reason to support Wang Zhuocheng and Meng Zi Yi from TU. But it seems this drama essentially shot them all in the foot.

That's a really dumb ending. Why have 4 leads when two will have such a stupid ending? I'll watch it when it uploads but it will not get a good rating from me. The plot fell apart early on.

So does anyone know how it actually ends? I'm waiting for Tencent to upload the rest of it and just finished episode 27. I like knowing the ending of films and books. Spoilers welcome.

I'll watch till the end but the plot development seems to have gotten way weaker.

On episode 27 and the second female lead is starting to be about as annoying as that sister that popped out of nowhere. Plus the friend of the same female went from just being there to the main antagonist? Anyone else getting a bit dizzy from how much this plot is going in different directions? Not to mention how the royal sister allows herself to get raped by the one she loves saying she was asking for it and then marries him.

At this rate, I doubt it'll be released but I'll keep it on my plan to watch list indefinitely.

Why are different apps showing different episodes released? Tencent Video has only released to 24. While on here it says 30.

I thought all the plot twists were enough but I guess not. I think they picked the wrong actress for it too. I'm watching it on Tencent video and it's only updated to episode 24, yet here it says 31. It's very weird.

Ok who else is unhappy with that whiny sister of the emperor that shows up and complicates crap even further. I'm sorry but her acting is not believable in anything other then whining. And even that is supposed to be fake. Not sure that was a smart thing to do, adding her character like that.
