Wow so much gun fire and action for the last 4 ep.
Trailer showed SWAT being deployed so I have a lot to look forward to in the last 5 eps. Please tell me the tattooed guy got his head blown off? Any loose ends?
I honestly feel so sorry for Qi Sizhe. He lost everyone he cared about — his girlfriend, his college friends…
Shit, so it was the teacher? With all those ppl, makes me wonder about his friendship making skills. HF was before college, they grew up together along with the girlfriend. Please tell me no other cops were lost in that final operation from their team? I haven't watched yet. Was the ending done right? All loose ends tied up; evil ppl dead or arrested especially tattooed enforcer guy; I hope he blew up. I'm also guessing he's the one who killed the gf and set QSZ's car on fire and caused the accident?
Wait that's actually really good! Most idol dramas don't usually get above 7.
It does, especially when you took the sentence out of context and made it into something it wasn't. The entire point of my posts had zero to do with fan bases but in fact other things like the terminology of idols and traffic stars, and YZ the asshole lol. But no big. Apology accepted.

I'm not here to compare fanbases; I just am not a fan of the term idol when neither leads were ever in boy/girl bands. Also "traffic" star is annoying; so what if they bring in the viewers? Isn't that the point? I understand veteran actors are important but if that happens (example out of thin air, not real that I know of), and say the show isn't seen by many and doesn't hit market revenue? Wouldn't that be a double edged sword?

No need to be rude. You completely took my one sentence out of context and ran with it like that was even the original topic. Please don't put words into my mouth. What I said was "I DON'T KNOW IF the ML in this case has a large fan base." Then I said was she's a child star so her fan base should be large. I don't follow either so am guessing at their fanbases. I don't care if they're large or small; I pay attention to the actor not their fan bases. If the actor does a good job like here that's going to make me watch more of their stuff; if they don't, the opposite will happen. That's common sense; nothing weird about it. If he's got a large fan base (yourself included by the sounds of it), good for him, I'm glad.
Do you mean a scene with Chen Chuchuan? I was a bit confused about where he was actually stabbed because at first,…
Thank you kindly I appreciate it. I definitely won't be up at 9 AM but just leave me a message with the spoiler tag on somewhere or a DM and I will be very happy to know all the details and hope that our iron triangle survives to the end. One cop no longer with us is enough.

That's like the untamed. It was all new actors and it became a cult classic which is actually a strange thing to say about a Chinese drama.. Yeah I don't know very much about him. I just watched a few costume dramas some I liked some I didn't, but this is the first one that I watched of him in modern and I think this may be a good genre for him. It would also be cool to see him and something like a republican era, crime, thriller, or something or even a modern crime thriller it doesn't necessarily have to be a romance drama.
Yeah, I heard about the whole agency dispute. I hope he's with a different agency because YZ is a bottom feeding clout chasing ass wipe and I feel bad for everyone who is under his agency because not only does he try to start fan wars and tries to get people that are not in his agency to look bad but also throws people in his agency under the bus so what the hell is the point? Why does he even have an agency if that's how he acts just be a producer you obviously have no idea how to run a business. Which I can say about a few other people, including GJM who is a great mad scientist because though he's controversial like nobody's business, he writes and creates these dramas that are just out of this World. All are original IP's so no one can claim that it came from a novel or something if there is a novel it's probably gonna come out after the fact, but he also has an agency a lot smaller than YZ but he doesn't know how to run a business either he has no risk management and no time management skills. So all these people that are producers, directors, screenwriters screen play writers or novelists whatever should just stick to what they know and leave the business end to people who know how to run a business. I think their entertainment industry would look a lot better if that happened and in some cases, they don't know how to run a business and they don't know how to be directors producers, or whatever so they don't belong in the entertainment industry at all. but you know that's just my personal observation.

It's nearly 4 AM here so I'll definitely be watching much later than you lol so if you get started before me, which you probably will let me know here in the comments or in the DM who the mastermind is, whether our previous guesses were correct or not.

There are some dramas with both veteran actors and younger ones. But I guess a romance type drama would be considered an idol drama because it's not as serious even though they venture into business politics and industry and all sorts of stuff in this drama that wouldn't be your usual just fluff. Maybe that's why it got a higher score on DB. Now I'm not a fan of DB and I know their ratings are usually based off of fan wars and junk even though they claim they clean it out I don't believe them. In any case the score is decent so the drama should be happy. There are wuxia dramas with veteran actors so 🤷🏻♀️.

Thanks for that. I don't know if the ML in this case has a large fan base. I'm sure the FL does but again she's a child star so people have been following her for ages. The other supporting actors and there were plenty of older veteran actors in the show so not really sure how this is still an idol drama, but OK.

You weren't losing your mind you were thinking the exact correct thing. By the way, did you get a chance to finish the episodes or are you waiting to do that? If you have finished them because I love spoilers, can you at least say who the mastermind is. Because obviously dude with tattoo is just the enforcer.

I just saw that pop across my Weibo. I don't understand why this is called an idol drama though. Neither leads are idols; she's a child star and he's an actor and model.
