I just wish this calendar would stabilize itself and not do these every two days two episodes per day and then one episode per day for two days. Can’t wait for express. The schedule is driving everybody batty I think.

They killed off someone who could have potentially been a real big bad and replaced him with an obsessed third wheel that’s going to go bat shit crazy because of his obsession with a woman who has never shown any interest in him. Oh yeah, that reminds me of quite a few shows that I have seen and is never a good thing. 🤦🏻♀️🙄
Oh so that’s what episode 25 is about. I was chatting in the DM‘s about the show with a friend and she has been spoiling me left and right about pretty much every episode but episode 25 seemed to have fallen through the cracks so it’s good to know that it serves for at least that very important purpose. I hope it serves for other important purposes between the leads as well, lol.
But I did see the equivalent of Godzilla or Balrog in 21 and while laughing I did say, YOU SHALL NOT PASS! One of those things a serious LOTR fan can’t help with lol! 😂😂😂
I see what CH is doing; it’s the connection to TBOY where SMY and MYM were saying the Patriarch aka CH once promised to bring them to the light not hide in the dark like An He has been doing with killing for hire but now he’s made them basically a demonic organization killing not just for money but for the hell of it. So here with that same “bringing them into the light” slogan, he’s recruiting young members from every family to slowly take out their brethren and creating followers. He hasn’t been corrupted yet, and I don’t think we will see it in this series, but it happens at some point obviously before the events in blood of youth. He will not kill SMY but they’ll clash because of ideals. But eventually they’ll form a new An He, the one we first met in TBOY. I think slowly that’s what we’ll be seeing in the show. But I like this connection to TBOY already and it was subtle but those who saw that show will understand.

If you watched blood of youth, she’s the one who fell in love with him while trying to kill him a few times that’s the story that she told that kid Wushuang in the tavern when her and SMY were officially leaving town. So that’s the connection he is the next Tang clan leader, and also protector of a certain emperor’s brother with the name black tortoise. It all connects.
I am also amazed by his acting and he can bring the SCH character very well, until I can trace back to old version…
Exactly. I don’t think we’ll see him turn into who SCH became because he’s still so young but it’ll be interesting to see the character development. You can already see small things like not caring who he had to kill; taking ML’s discarded missions.

Yeah from the spoilers I’m getting, he’s gonna get worse; loser. It was so much better when he was just a regular kid, helping his “sister” why turn him into a Looney tune? Killed of MQB who played a great antagonist and are left with a wannabe? This actor is still too green for evil roles.
