He wanted to save his son, but at the same time he's willing to kill innocent soldiers just to get his son to lead them Who are part of ML's battalion. He doesn't care anymore, who he kills as long as his son inherit the future. He doesn't even realize how completely useless his son is and that other than being greedy in regards to Royal lineage and all of that crap his son has absolutely no idea how to do anything when it comes to warfare or any of that other stuff assassins can only do so much. And they won't have time to do much else because ML regain his memories today he's going to deal with the bloodthirsty alliance quickly I think and then move onto kick some butt in revenge land so they will all know he's coming. I don't know who he'll go after first, but someone's going to be paying a price.

In the double do you mean the husband that buried her alive the ex-husband and then fell for that lunatic princess and then ended up being the last villain of the peace? Yeah, the actor did pretty good. I'm not sure I've seen him before. Maybe I have I just don't remember. I think both ZY and Ai Mi have both said that every single time they appear on screen as a tragic ending and that if GJM puts them together again as like a couple or something that he better write them a happy ending which I thought was very funny. I wish they would do a modern drama together then They could have a happy ending there.

I just finished writing a whole novel. I'm going to write just a few sentences here, but you hit the nail on the head with extreme character change. Maybe if the character was a little smoother it wouldn't have appeared or looked the way it did. I'm a fan of smooth transitions, not whiplash character changes like one moment I'm a Spoiled brat and the next moment I am a wise, Amazon woman Xena warrior princess which of course she's not, but that's just an example.

What is crying after losing family have to do with anything? She's been crying since the get-go obviously she's going to cry some more. And I know more about family trauma than most. Her husband has been ghosting her before they even got married and she still didn't get the point. That's what I'm trying to get at. You're only talking about her now I'm talking about the entire process. Heat never once said that he would be the husband that she wanted yet she clung to him like white on rice. We all saw that. It's not like he promised her, the sky, the moon, and the stars and then as soon as they got to his country started ghosting her. He never wanted to be with her in the first place and only tolerated her because he was in her country and couldn't do anything about it. It was a marriage alliance after all. She wanted things from him. He was never going to deliver and never promised to deliver. The difference now is that she finally sees it because after that slap, those fantasy bubbles burst and she finally saw him for who and what he really was, but it still took a whole lot for her to start understanding where she really was. Because even when she ran from his palace or whatever you wanna call it hole in the wall and the guards grabbed her she still kept saying she's a princess of this or she's princess of that like she didn't understand her place or didn't quite get it. And the ironic thing is the lunatic emperor is the one who had to beat it into her head with his seemingly cruel world that she was an idiot and stupid and dumb and worthless and maybe those words finally sunk in because she started to get there. You're claiming she's already this scheming cunning, whatever woman and I'm saying hopefully she'll get there but she is just beginning too. That's all now it's nearly 5 AM here so I need to get some sleep in today's episodes. We will obviously be seeing more of that scheming cunning whatever woman because right now she is trying to get revenge on nut sack then from the previews she wants the emperor to help her kill certain people, but how is that supposed to happen unless there's an invasion on her country does she not understand that? Like she thinks in increments and I understand, she will never be as smart and brave and cunning as our FL but she needs to get to the part where she respects herself and I'm not sure she's there yet. She had to stop crying and start doing what she needed to do. I saw her growth for the first time when she was defiant with the empress Dowager whatever she has. And when she with a pouty face kiss the emperor, and then they went further from there, thankfully we didn't have to see the rest of that. She's going to become calculating and scheming more in these episodes today I think but up until now I haven't seen it so I'm going to call it as it is. And for the last time because I'm finishing this conversation here I need sleep. It's OK to agree to disagree. We all know it's going to happen anyway that her big brother comes and rescues her, but I hope that by that time she has reached her evolution and development peek into a mature, grown woman princess or otherwise.

I think had she really had character development she sure could've used that method but also had backup plans. But she's neither shrewd nor cunning nor scheming unless it's now slowly, but not in the way you would think I suppose. I know this is a historical drama not 2025 but regardless of it, I don't see character development or such a massive growth as I was speaking about with the OP. Yes she's starting to figure things out and she's starting to understand what revenge is and how to use people because that's what she's been around and after the rose colored glasses got knocked off, and her little fantasy bubble burst. She has to figure things out, but she is in no way done growing, and hopefully in the how many episodes we have left, she gets to a point where she's a young, smart and mature woman we would like her to be, and not the spoiled little rich girl we've seen the entire series.

I guess we will have to agree to disagree on this one. I think other characters are way more developed than she is. I don’t find her developed at all to be honest. Maybe there’s a stronger voice in there, but other than that, I find her as un appealing as she was before, maybe slightly less spoiled now that she finally understands that Rose colored glasses are off, and the delusion is gone. Otherwise, we will see how it goes, but she had a lot of stuff thrown at her, but she made those choices. Don’t forget that she had every opportunity to back out even her brother chased her down, and she still did not do this even freaking held a knife to her neck for Lord sake. So I’m not blaming her situation on anyone but herself because she’s the one who made those choices now she’s gotta live with them and deal with them. Hopefully, she actually does mature and evolve more as these episodes are winding down. We only have what eight left or something so she’s got a lot of Growing up to do. You actually don’t have to put this in spoilers because we’re not spoiling anything for people and we’re talking about actors and what not I actually started MJTY for ZLH and then I also found Ai Mi (who’s really close to ZY it seems; they do DY dances a lot it seems lol) and someone that I follow very closely now and that’s TJR or the Joker as he was called because of that smile of his Mr. poison That it also has potential. He’s very good in FOF and though ZY’s character is I think only a guest role in FOF he still does a very good job so I think you should check it out when you can. But yes, this show. He definitely changed it up and I think he did very well.

Here’s the problem, though her development happened in 10 minutes if you can even call at that. As soon as she found out that her father and brother were dead, she cried, and she cried, and she cried and did a bunch of other things then lunatic emperor told her what’s what and then she ran to her mirror crying then she wiped away her tears inside. I’m not gonna cry anymore and then she stood up and all of a sudden she’s this developed person? I’m sorry I got lost somewhere. The thing is is that she’s using her body as a tool to get what she supposedly wants which is to get rid of nut sack but at the same time the emperor though a complete lunatic is not stupid either. I think he’s already fallen for her because she’s interesting and she does shit that none of the other female subjects or whoever he screws around with whatever dare to do. I still don’t see her development other than I’m gonna use my body as a tool to get what I want. And every single time he does what I want and agrees with me I will let him screw me. That’s literally the only objective right now. That’s really not the tools that you should be using if you’re talking about development. I don’t know about the novel cause I don’t read them but in the novel supposedly she dies. I don’t think that will happen to her here but she will definitely lose something important or maybe not important at first or just scary at first, but will become important later.

I Disagree when it comes to cunning and scheming for all of whatever he wanted, he was really good up until FSG started to catch up to him. But in whatever happened when the emperor died, something snapped in the father that was I think long buried psychologically because if you see the way he kills those two soldiers and then the eunach as well as after strangling the ML he got this intense look of satisfaction and thrill on his face. And only serial killers ever experienced that rush, that high after a killing. So his father was not the loyal caring minister or whatever the hell he was, general guy. That may be the face that he portrayed to the world, but behind the mask was basically Ted Bundy or the Green River killer or whoever else led a double life and got away with dozens of homicides. Also remember when MYR was telling FSG why he was jealous of him and all that other stuff about when they were attacked when they were kids, MYR said that after FSG was put on the horse and when it galloped away with him, MYR passed out, even though there were enemies all around them, but when he woke up, all of the assassins were not just dead, but they were demolished, even though his father was also very injured. He was still alive, but the assassins were basically as brutalized as one would think and that sort of what he did to ML. So you have to think back for just how long was this man allowed to go unchecked. It’s one thing you kill an assassin you slit his throat or you stab him once or twice but these guys they were basically just slaughtered. It was overkill for every single one of them. So there was obviously something very wrong with him, psychologically, but he could hide it very quickly under that loyal, caring mask for as long as he needed to.

If you started this drama for ZY then you must’ve watched MJTYNFOF where he starred as a protagonist mainly so I don’t know his other work, but I think this may be his first antagonist role and I think he did a spectacular job I mean the switch from Brother good guy to ML to this monster that killed so many innocent people and nearly killed the ML as well is pretty good and it shows his versatility so I think he’s on the right track. I hope he gets more roles that are different in other genres as well because I think he deserves them. It doesn’t make you a weirdo for liking good villains that are multilayered and multifaceted. Good villains are a must in a story Unless it’s just a romcom with a few couples and that’s it. If you have a good story with villains, but the villains are one dimensional. It’s just not going to look good so please don’t call yourself that.

I think they all could’ve had different endings if there weren’t so many crazy greedy people around. He thought in his own delusional world that he belonged in a royal lineage, though he had no royal blood. But even though he was at one point, a good strategist playing with the enemy and what not Joining hands with Nutsack to kill so many innocent people in order to get to his big plan of killing the emperor and what not I think once FSG and he were closer together and FL started to investigate his identity. Everything came apart. He couldn’t scheme or be cunning anymore. Once people knew who he really was plus on top of that, he can’t fight to save his life. That’s why he had the boatload of assassins. If you look at the clip, he can’t hold a fight against the ML at all, not with a sword, and not with his fists the guy physically was useless, even against a weak soldier, he would’ve lost.

I think it’s the actors first role as a lunatic lech. He’s usually always a protagonist like guard, second hand to whomever or good loving brother so this is a huge change for him; but he’s pulled it off.

Is it just me or has the lunatic emperor fallen for the equally crazy princess? Future shots show them scheming, killing ppl and screwing around; at first I thought she was just using him (though how she learned that art form in under 10 minutes is beyond me); but it seems she’s just using her body to get what she wants which is gross and degrading. I guess if he didn’t find her “interesting” or fell for her, she’d be locked away somewhere she could really go nuts in. Though not sure what more she can do other then rock back and forth and hum. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have never re-watched I’ve seen clips here and there of like my favorite parts but that’s it. The Hobbit was good, but it was no match for its predecessor or technically sequel, though broadcast first. Yeah, if you have prime video, you can just find it and they have both versions the regular one in the extended one for all three films I believe.

Have y’all noticed that MYR can’t fight at all? He can’t use his sword properly gets knocked out of his hand in two seconds and his punches, barely land. Meanwhile, he gets the ever loving shit beat out of him which of course he deserves. But going back to the beginning of the series, he had everyone else do his dirty work because he damn well knew that if he was going to go against even the least experienced soldier he would get his ass whooped in two seconds. Dumbass; his greedy strategies worked for a while, but karma came back with a vengeance like no other and he deserved every single thing he got.

I think you’re one of the very few that actually still feels sorry for her on this page. I’m still not getting her nor her actions. She would sleep with all the soldiers in that palace to get what she wants.

Yeah, but the definitions are different than what you say that’s why people can get very confused so it’s better if you just say brotherhood or sisterhood. Yeah I really hope the second brother has learned something living in the palace other than literally believing every single thing everyone has ever told him. At this point, I kind of wonder whether his mother told him the sky was purple whether he would believe it too.
