Seriously I wish the FL and the ML would just run away and let everyone else kill each other. Everyone is a fucking psycho, emperor included, so whoever takes him out that’s fine. There’s literally maybe 2.5 normal people in the entire capital everyone else is greedy, hungry wanting power and what the emperor did is just mind blowing. He is an absolute ruthless fucker that deserves whatever the hell is coming to him. Yes, it should have had a smoother transition. And all the subplots to bring them down including harming the kid, was unnecessary. I fully fault the screenwriter for it. It started off really strong and should have stayed that way. Very strong structure and theme. More often then not, less is more.
Haocheng sub plot is couple episodes, and his identity always was major part of story, why Haoming choose Xu Yan…
