Ratings matter for fans but ratings don’t matter for the overall show from this site. It just has to do with official or unofficial if that makes sense. IMDb was not created by fans. It was created by an actual corporation like a company so people internationally can rate everything. It goes through a whole scrutiny process you even have to pay to have your managers and everything of that nature uploaded. It is an official company. It’s like saying if you go to a store and buy a Hotdog That’s an official business as opposed to buying a hotdog on a street from say a vendor or something of that nature that’s what I’m talking about ratings matter to fans, but they don’t matter to the show from this site. You can have this thing be tens across the board and it will not matter to the actual show on the mainland or any other show in Asia in this case.

It’s very simple because IMDb is a legit rating company that was created just for that and this is a fan site created by fans for fans that’s it. That’s why the ratings do not matter in any way shape or form. IMDb on the other hand is an internationally acclaimed rating site. I hope that answers your questions.
