It’s a very good drama, but the last six episodes you literally have to hold your breath.

ML took his sweet time speechifying instead of just asking where the general was when he had the psychopath where he wanted him. Something else I found interesting at first the uncle said that he just randomly hired ZQL because some guy recommended him and then as the episodes progressed he started saying that ZQL is now XG and he knows what he’s doing and he’s been doing it a long time and he’s very proficient and all this other stuff. Doesn’t exactly sound like someone who doesn’t know someone else That they just randomly hired from a friend. So that should’ve been the first clue that something isn’t quite right here. And then his little fumble with “well that’s what’s wrong with the Wu family” which prompted WX to say “well aren’t you part of the family too?” was his other fumble that I actually caught.

A 10 for me would be extremely rare and this drama definitely did not come close to a 10. I do agree that the screenwriter and the storyline just went haywire and dragged and did all sorts of things that it didn’t really need to do. Plus the whole AI and the modern world and I understand censorship, but you really don’t need to include a modern world if you’re just going to write about a historical story. We’ve seen it 1,000,000 1/2 times. In any case it is what it is and if it wasn’t for all the storyline/screenwriter screw ups so I think the series would’ve done a lot better. At least the fight scenes made up for it.

QS at the tomb where he laid her to rest, mention it that she wrist, her life to write down the whatever cordex book of oblivion depends on where you’re watching. Had a level 15 that required the musical instrument. No she didn’t end her own life. She tried to end the psychopath‘s life, but we all know where that went.

I just realized something that in the series or certain aspects of it reminds me of The Untamed where the qin and its music could be used as weapons. Pretty cool that comparison.

By the way in the rundown where you said that sister ended her own life, it doesn’t seem like that in the actual drama. It seems like psychopath ended her life and then just got really drunk and blamed it on everyone else. Sounds like he’s got big bro syndrome in that capacity otherwise he’s just a narcissist with Grandiose issues.

Not like AJTL; at least here it’s gradual.

I think the one thing in there that I will probably also add to my own was the whole emperor thing he has been poisoning LCZ this entire time and yeah, when he learns of the ladders passing he’s all shocked and surprised like, what the hell did you think the outcome was? I didn’t understand the thought process there. If he couldn’t even put two and two together there, how the hell is he supposed to rule an entire country? What a moron! And he actually believed the murderers plan that the northern gangsters or whatever they are weren’t planning an invasion like dude where the hell are you getting your information from? How is it that you have a country full of intelligence and you only trust one person. Put Prince Liang on the throne stat!
