Back this puppy up so in the modern world, the senior was selling military secrets (and Jack ML‘s work as his own) that would totally explain his R identity in the fantasy world. Now they just have to find whose face he took to do all of that for the enemy. He’s letting everyone else do his dirty work unless he does it every so often. And he’s the only one so far that I can think of that knows ML‘s real name from the modern world. Other than that dude that he wrote in that’s his workmate. But he doesn’t remember modern day memories. So this is pretty confusing sticking this into this episode unless there’s a whole lot still to be unraveled, including the fact that we have not met crazy yet, but we will know that the king of the waterways is dead and now someone is walking around with his face. I think Game of Thrones either learned it from them or they learned it from GoT lol.

They can’t bring anyone back to life either because that’s not the genre of this drama.

I guess we will have to see until the end to figure it out. I hope they don’t make it too confusing.

I don’t think it’s him. It’s definitely the dude from the tang clan, but the one that was released from custody not the one who passed away. I completely believe he was in the half mask on the roof with the voice modulator. After all, he’s good at manipulating and big bro will swallow anything as long as he’s made to look like the good guy and all of this with his constant delusion of reviving his family when all he wants is fame and fortune.

I mean, who else would it be that knows the name XMM in the story? It's very strange and I wonder how they're going to pull this all off.

I think that the person he meets is actually out in disguise with the many faces. I wonder if the person who he's supposed to eliminate is his own little brother or someone higher and maybe frame his little brother. Wouldn't be too far of a stretch. He's been out of the reach of redemption for a while now I'm just waiting for his death and for all the puzzle pieces to fall into place.

So how does the editor or senior whatever he is modern day fit into all of this? Did he transmigrate as R into the series whoever R is? He obviously didn’t do so with his own face. This is like the ultimate game of faces.

It wasn’t an absurd ending. You had to watch the special episode to really understand it. It was very well done and the cinematography was out of this world.

I’m just curious to what the hell the costume designer was thinking. Given how much screen time they have the very least that could’ve been done is a change of outfits. Unless that’s also symbolic for them not being able to move on.

Maybe. I guess we will see today what the deal is. But he has to return to finish whatever it is that needs to be finished so it’s not like he’s going to stay there in the real world for a long time.

Seriously, though if you watch his face and don't fast forward him like I do constantly it's the same exact expression. Honestly, if I was there, I would take him by the arm, lead him to the nearest outhouse and go "finish what you gotta do and by the time you come out, you better fix your face."
