It's not supposed to be his real name LSF, that is, it's someone else... from that episode I understood why the…
That maybe he belongs to one of the big families like the Tang family? That would be interesting but then again why is he having a grudge against ML‘s father out of all people? There’s a bunch of these sects of families in the martial arts world. It’s like he’s got this grudge, but he doesn’t know who brought down the valley. There’s a disconnect in his story. I would like to know more about his backstory and who’s responsible for whatever he believes someone did. Maybe whatever he believes isn’t even true. Maybe it’s the power gang that’s behind his family’s destruction and he’s basically now part of the same people who brought about that destruction. That’s why I’m saying we need more backstory more plot not just all these random characters thrown in like pieces of spaghetti into a soup.
So here are my observations so far and I did exactly what I said I would with these two episodes not to give myself an extra headache.
For starters there is definitely something off about the second brother. One of two things either he is also part of team evil (notice, when sword King attacked ML and his sworn brothers wanted to jump he screamed at them; “It’s for the greater good”; that has been a phrase that power gang has used repeatedly very subtly, but I have heard it in episodes prior so that gives me pause. Also, when the others rushed to ML after he was harmed, second brother‘s eyes were all shifty and he didn’t know where or didn’t care about where to touch him) is just playing dumb or he has some mental challenges we are not aware of.
The other thing that kind of annoys me and a lot of dramas do this is that they throw a zillion characters in with names and introductions and everything and then those characters just disappear. You don’t know what happened to them. Will we see them again? You don’t know their purpose or any of that. We have had the same stuff happen here. We really don’t need that many characters. We just need a solid storyline and a plot and to get where we are going.
We still don’t have a solid explanation on what LSF’s backstory is that we are getting little bits and pieces about it. But we don’t know why he has this all-time grudge against ML‘s father. Furthermore, the fact that he spent his time chained up in the Tang clan being fed by SFL so he somehow connected to that clan? There are a lot of of unknowns about his character, which I would like to know and I’m sure everybody else would too.
Also, what is up with platinum haired doppelgänger dude? The few times we’ve seen him he’s been sick and coughing, but we don’t know his origin or who he’s even related to. At first I thought he was related to crazy Yan because we’ve had those flashbacks, but in the relationship chart, there is no arrows pointing between the two of them. There are arrows pointing between the ML and crazy Yan so maybe crazy Yan is the dude in the mask which we still haven’t met (purely my own speculation). Going back to the whole zillion unnecessary characters, but none of the ones that actually progress the story.
I think he’s playing a morally gray antagonist, but there’s a possibility he will be given a redemption arc…
Most likely but he’s got to start the martial arts aspect of things soon I mean, we don’t want a rushed second half of the show. You understand that his brothers are two fools, especially the oldest one making all these decisions without any information or any clue about why he’s making them.
He trusted total strangers that lied to him over his own brother maybe because he thought that would make him famous in the martial arts world. Basically a total fool.

Guess that's a good thing (the hints). But those two bros will be responsible for the family's downfall if it happens and things don't change. But I'll probably just watch bits and pieces of 13 and the end of 14; don't need the migraine.
