I’m really enjoying this drama as well. I am a super baifern fan. She’s really doing such a great job in this drama. I’m afraid to watch the pinky version. I stopped where she started working at the bar because I was afraid to know the ending. Pinky is really beautiful. I like her too. And I really like the ▫️OST▫️ to Pinky’s version. Because I love Prikthai. That’s how I was able to know about this drama was through the band. However, I never watched the drama until this year, because it’s very old and the video quality isn't good. But I like Pinky so Im gonna finish it. I really like how this version is a little different from Pinky’s version, so it’s like I’m not watching exact same story. I was surprised there’s so many versions of this drama. Baifern is getting a lot of hate because of this character she’s playing, but I think she’s doing such a great job. Thong has been through hell and back, and I wanna see her win. Yes, I know that translations is in Thai. But YouTube has auto translate in almost every language, so all you have to do is click to cc settings, then chose auto translate to English. Also, you can only choose auto translate in English on desktop version of your browser. So if your using phone/ipad etc make sure to request desktop website. The translations won’t be 100% correct but they would be at least 95% and you would understand what they were saying. I hope that helps.

I really enjoyed this drama. It was like watching a chess match. In the end all the pieces fell into place so effortlessly. I can’t believe it took me this long to watch it should have watched it sooner.

Thank you for saying this. Just because some people like this version and others don’t. I see that they tend to put the other people down a lot, and call us purist and old timers. Sighs, everyone should be able to not like something without other ppl losing their shyt 🤨😂. I actually really liked the 2017 version a lot and liked the Hu Ge and Ariel remake too. I think I saw both of those dramas at least 10 times each. And I’ve noticed a lot of other fellow “purist“ & “old timers“ that also liked other remakes as well. Can’t believe they think there are ppl that only like one version, and decide to just hate other version out of spite? Like who tf has time to waste watching a drama, knowing you’re gonna hate it no matter what?! Why even bother watching it? People watch things hoping they will like it but sometimes they just don’t, and thats okay. Nobody that is a true Jin Yong fan is sitting around waiting to watch a drama of his, to instantly hate on it for funsies.

I actually like this version of Shagu, I thought this was a good casting for her character. I don’t recall her saying why she became that way. Some eps I watched in ffw 🤣 so I might have skipped it.
