After nearly 3 years of watching asian drama and tracking them on MDL, maybe its time I added something here :)  

Hi there, 안녕 !

I am much older than most here, but share the love for dramas. I usually watch Korean and Japanese dramas, plus a selected few Chinese. My preferred genres are crime/thrillers and melodramas.   

 I realised some time ago that I am a rather generous rater and seem to think the scale is 5-10 and not 1-10! That's why you'll see everything skewed on the higher side in my ratings. 

Which means anything less than 8 was actually just passable/okay. Dramas I rate between 8-9 are good to enjoyable. The cream of course are those at 9.5 and 10! These are dramas I truly enjoyed - they got me emotional.   

And that's the reason I love asian dramas - the best of them tell stories of relationships, emotions, human connections and human struggles without overdoing it. No unnecessary dramatics,  tear-jerking/manipulative narratives.

Kim Sun A ( have a goal of watching all her shows, just 4 left)	Cho Seung Woo
Nagayama Eita	Kuroki Haru
