It is such a big difference to see how Ming Yi is now, more of herself as the Warrior Ming Xian comparing to when she is cute clumsy flirty Ming Yi. While JBZ practised with the sword artifact, i felt that he thought things through. That explains why she cant be clean with him on her identity, feelings etc. She approached him to cure herself. Fall in love along the way. But because they are warrior opponents and divided by their realms, things are complicated. However, i do think he knows deep down she cares for him and loves him.
This for him, is probably enough at the moment. Of course he would find ways to make MY say it or admit somehow lol. But at the moment, he knows his heart is locked. And hers too 🥰🥰🥰
