Here is my opinion (I'm only on episode 28 but I already saw the spoilers):

Though Ji Can said that LWY is the only one that loves Ji Ling to the point of sacrifice or something along those lines, it's not exactly true. It may be true in the sense of romantic love but Li Jie and Bai Ze (mostly Li Jie) are very willing to sacrifice their own lives because it's JL. Li Jie also sensed his loneliness and has a deep bond with Ji Ling like JL has with LWY. So it's two people instead of one that is able to smell that scent. I get what the story is trying to do/trying to move but what Ji Can said isn't exactly true. Li Jie deserved a better ending, at least let him join JL & LWY in the world/reality their in as his Gege or a friend

I'll say this, this is technically a happy ending in the sense that almost everyone got the endings that they wanted in a way. I mean at least it's better than how FOF ended, this ending is more like a MJTY ending than FOF since the major characters in MJTY didn't die like in FOF.

I was shocked to see Bai Ze again and even Xiaowen 😭

Bai Ze 😭😭 He did not need to die like that frfr but he really was there since the start and it makes sense though. He was by Ji Ling side the longest and taught him the most, I wish Li Jie was still around 😔 Also WSG getting slapped by You Chi 😂 now that part was funny, it gave me flashbacks to FOF in that one scene. You Chi is probably my fourth favorite character in this drama, he gives me heavy YL vibes from FOF like they could be related

Li Jie 😭😭 I hope it's a two in one body and not just Yuan Wuhuo in Li Jie's body because Li Jie doesn't deserve this 😭

Any spoilers about Li Jie? The butterfly demon? The Yuan brothers? (Ngl that's all I'm wondering about rn because things aren't looking good for Li Jie rn 😭)

Probably his younger brother if he is searching for something in the book of fate

Li Jie better come out of the illusion 😒 other than that I have more questions than answers 😭

On that note, the first 5 episodes are really good. The comedy is there (the trauma will come later), there's still a few things I'm confused about but I'm starting to understand the storyline. Ji Ling is my favorite character so far, he reminds me of Yuanzhou (I think that's the character's name) and Bai Jiu if they were one character. I will say I've noticed that all three series of Rui's his characters have knowledge of herbs/poison which I find interesting.

The plot twists so far are good as well because I did not see who Xiaowen actually was coming at all. (I'm sorry I'm all over the place) This is definitely giving off the vibes of Fangs of Fortune with a mix of My Journey To You, the humor is leaning more towards MJTY than humor from FOF but that's just my opinion so far. There really isn't anything bad to say about the drama so far, personally for me it's a good one

I think this might be a mix of MJTY and FOF. As in My Journey To You, there weren't major deaths like Fangs of Fortune

EP 23 is literally just EP 22 and the last EP is the first EP 😭 (At least from where I'm watching) I want the real ending

I believe that the novel didn't really have confirmed ending for the three. You can scroll down in this comment section. Someone actually read the book or at least know some knowledge of it

Phu and Night are the only students from the science facility that were using their knowledge. One of the only smart ones of the whole team.

I don't care about the whole San and Non thing. I love Zeenunew but shipping the characters is crazy work. San is still dating Non's sister Ning and if something did happen between the two guys it would be an affair/cheating which I don't condone even if it's for a bl ship. Cheating is still cheating. I would understand if San broke up with Ning or wasn't with her to begin with but Non is literally her brother. But to each their own I guess

Lilly will definitely be like that one daughter zombie in that movie. She'll be able to function like how she use to if the group continues to do what they did to her. (Mainly thanks to Night, Sun and Kawin)

If they make a S2 I hope there's some character development with everyone as well as backstories for the other characters. A series like this is something that needs 12 EPS or more.

A bit confusing yeah but the reason why I haven't finished it is because I'm also watching other series as well. I'm halfway finished with Ultimate Note anyways

I was watching Ultimate Note since a few months ago and while I was watching Journey Of Legends I decided to watch Time Raiders

So who will be in this sequel besides the main characters? Korn and Tonkla died unless they're doing a what if or something to bring them back and if they do. Bas has already left unless he's allowed to do series after he left BOC. Maybe a three way this time? Tonkla has chemistry with both of them but he was definitely just using Win
